The people who run the place are "unique." The first minute I was there, the office lady was extremely rude. We originally booked for 2 nights because we had a weekend race event across the road. One of the lady's first things she said to me was to insult our event and say "I've started petitions against it. I don't want to listen to that shit, would you want to listen to that shit??" We asked for a site away from other because we have a reactive dog. She flat out said "No" and laughed. Even though the park was only 25% full, she put us directly across from a site that had a dog who was tied up outside all day and night. Most of the "campers" obviously live there. One trailer leaves their pitbulls in the trailer all day, barking. In the morning, I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth. That same lady came in and started sweeping. I moved to the side while ai brushed so I was out of her way. She said "the bathrooms are closed." I didn't say a word, I wasn't going to start a fight. But on the sheet of rules they haded out, there's no closing notice. And there's no signs posted anywhere. I just kept brushing my teeth and didn't say anything. Grumpy lady kept talking, but I ignored her and went about my business. Eventually she got huffy and said "I guess I'll just come back later then" and left. Yup, I guess you will. So we left after one night. I'm not going to pay to be treated so badly. I can't be around people that unhappy and depressing. The place is trashy, and the people who live there are sketchy. But its convenient. And it's a place to fill up your water. Best of luck staying there, but we won't again. I'll treat myself to a hotel the night before the race from now on, to avoid such a miserable experience. Paid showers. No RV dump station. No laundry. Rude staff. Undesirable neighbors. New, but poorly kept bathrooms. Puke all over the one toilet and sink. 1 star because of its location. That's its only redeeming quality.

They have done so many things right here. Things that we have rarely seen at other campsites, if ever. Knowing that with no sewer access at campsites, trailer grey tanks need emptying after a few days, management has installed clean, spacious sinks outside the washrooms to wash dishes. Even better are the 2 sani-totes available to campers for when black tanks are full. The wi-fi is awesome and the managers are friendly and helpful. We spent 7 nights here and enjoyed our visit very much.

Campsites are taken care of. Basic with hookups, picnic table and fire pit. Only downside of the campground is the train that rolls through nearby at random hours of the night. It's a bit loud! Staff are so helpful and friendly. Assisted me to park my trailer which I really appreciated.

Easy access, friendly attendants. Close to the rail line, some noise in the middle of the night. There is a sewer dump onsite, just not at the RV stalls. If you like baseball, pull up a chair, there’s field is almost every direction.

Have really enjoyed my stay here. There is power and water hookups at site. I normally prefer sewer as well but the bathroom/shower house is well maintained with great temperature of water, so I did not miss the sewer hookup. The shower house takes a loonie for about a 5 min shower. There is a blowdryer in the woman’s bathroom which is a nice addition. Grounds are very well maintained with a fire pit and picnic table. Mature trees are lined on most sites. You can purchase wood for $10/load and delivered to your site. The managers Kathy and Ralph are very helpful and great spirited people. Ralph helps you back in to your spot and is known as the “divorce saviour”. It is very quiet what I experienced. The train does run close by but it did not bother me. It’s a beautifully kept campground with great management close to everything in town. Thank you Kathy and Ralph for such a great welcome. Will be back.
