NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLY!!! There are no signs when you turn into the campground telling you where to go so my fiancé and I assumed we could pull right into our pull through site near the front of the campground (the front desk lady said we could when we made our reservation). We soon realized that we went the wrong way due to the lack of signage and the roads are so cramped that turning around was a complete nightmare. Once we finally got into our pull through site (which made us block the 1 lane road to get in and out of the campground so the residents driving through had to wait for us to clear the road - many of which were not friendly), we quickly realized that pulling through the site to leave was not an option due to the sharp corners and how close together the sites are that we'd have to navigate to get back out onto the main road (the main road is an uphill to get back to the highway by the way and on a mostly blind corner). So we had to back out of our pull through site so we could make sure we could make it around those sharp corners while leaving. We have a 44ft long toy hauler and a 22ft long truck. Aside from the horrendous design of the roads and sites, the campground feels very trashy and run down. The pull through sites are so squished together that our bedroom slide opened over our neighbor's fire pit which is insane to us (see pic). I put 3 stars for service because the front desk lady was trying to help us and agreed that their signage is severely lacking. There was also no sewer at our pull through site for $80 per night which is insane. At the time of our reservation, we made it clear that we wanted an easy in and easy out so we didn't have to contort our RV to make it into our site. So I repeat - DO NOT COME HERE unless you have a smaller rig or at least be informed that the 1 entrance /exit has tight, stressful roads.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I spent $240 for three nights and we ended up leaving a night early. It’s more of a trailer park than a campground. 95% are long term camping. We never met or spoke with whoever runs the place because no one was in office. No store. The “WiFi” never even worked. The picnic tables are in rough shape. The gravel sites we stayed in were a mess. The playground looked like it had not been cleaned for a while. And the pictures they have online do not match what we stayed in. I could go on and on. Don’t waste your money like we did.

We stayed at this campground (it does not resemble a resort). The good : it’s located in between the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. The office clerk was very nice. It’s close to a nice shopping center. The not so good: pull through sites have no shade and are very small. No sewer hook up. They advertise WiFi, it was terrible, no reception. Bath house very poorly maintained, sink leaks, toilet plugged. The site provided no emergency after hours contact number. Most of the campground housed long term residents, poorly maintained RV’s and trailers. Overall, a run down campground. The owner should invest in improvements.

Highly recommend the cozy cottage. Very kid friendly (teens and pre teens). Even my dogs love it. Great price! If you are visiting the ark experience with family this is the place to stay.

One bonus it’s in the woods away from the main road. Close to a big state park which was nice. This campground you get what you pay for. Minimal grass we were scared to even light a fire it was so close to the camper and our slide out pretty much came out over the other campers fire pit. Showers we ok and pool was ok.

I was hoping to stay here for a trip with my wife and a friend we haven't seen for 3 yrs. This place only lets you book cabins through Air BnB. I was laid off from my job on Monday March 31st and promptly called Shelly's phone and left a message through AirBnB. The note on Air BnB says "typically replies in 30 minutes". It took an entire business day to reply. She said I had to process cancellation through Air Bnb. I reached out to them due to the extenuating circumstances. Air BnB said the cancellation policy is written by Shelly and only She could approve a 100% refund instead of the 57% I'll get back, and Air BnB confirmed the resort will get paid the 43%. UPDATE: I processed the cancellation and they only kept 50% of the accomidations (200.00 for them) and the 74.00 fee for Air Bnb. I reached out asking for grace as the money they are keeping is the equivalent of my electric and cell monthly bills and I gave them 29 day heads up. Shelly said that is was less than 30 days and they "apologize". I will never use this company or deal with their heartless staff who cannot be bothered to stick with their advertised 30 minute reply window and are the ones who actually cost 2 days worth of notification. So. Book at your own risk and hope nothing bad happens because this company and AirBnB doesn't care and they get paid. Buyer beware.

Highway thief’s! If you pay monthly they double the price Owen electric charges them. They’re charged .08 pKw but then look for your “adjustment” each month they say they cannot change(unless your busy their shady a$$) .18-.24Kw per hour is what they charge you by the end of the month. Double what I pay at home in a house. 250 a month

My husband tried to buy a camper here. Louise is the one that waited on him. Said she had to go out of town when she got back he would have first dibs on it. Then she wouldn’t answer any of the phone call on the business line and her cell. She then sold it out from under my husband. I wouldn’t want to take the chance on her even or this place would she take care of the camp ground like this. Don’t trust them!!! No he was told no deposit at that time she was leaving to get her daughter

The campground is crowded but in a pretty location. The bathroom (female) is disgusting. Large clumps of hair on the floor from the 1st day still there at the end of the next day. No hooks to hang things like a towel or toiletry bag. No place to wash dishes if you don't have a huge RV to work in. Prices are way to high for what you get.

Great campground for RVs! Sucks for us tent campers that's about it showers are okay they do their best as a campground to keep up with it. Nice pool and pavilion. Good people around the sites and great owners. Has play ground for young kids, and one basketball hoop.

Very disappointed with new management that now requires at least a 30 day stay. This was the perfect campground for people to use as they are passing through due to it being right off the exit. My parents are full timers, and have been coming here for years. They always stayed here for a week or 2 a few times a year when they were heading north or south. Perfect location since they visit us quite often in Northern KY. Now that new owners require 30 day min stay, they are forced to go elsewhere. In my opinion, this is going to cost them a lot of business. My Parents were friends with the previous owners, and before it was sold, they mentioned that they have been booked year round at times, so it was difficult to get a spot due to people passing through to visit the ARk and the Creation Museum. NOT people who were staying more than 30 days, just people who were passing through and needed accommodations for a few nights. What a shame, and a very poor business decision. I can almost guarantee that the majority Of people wanting to stay here were only wanting to do so for less than 30 days, So I guess all future visitors who are passing through will be forced to find other accommodations. This requirement really needs to be changed.i really don’t know what their new management was thinking.

This campground was conveniently located off I 75. They also accommodated is when we called at the last minute to come a day earlier than our reservation, so that was very appreciated. It was a decent place for an overnight stop. I wouldn't want to stay here much longer as the sites were on top of each other and the neighbors talking in normal voices outside woke us early in the morning. Water hookup at site was nice to have. We did not use the restroom or the pool but the pool appeared clean. It appeared most of the campground had permanent residents back in the shaded area. Some of those trailers were kind of junky looking, but the front open area for short term stays was separate and neat. We appreciated the pull through site. Price was reasonable.
