We had a great stay at Oak Forest. It was a nice, quiet, peaceful RV park with good amenities. There are a lot of long term residents but they seem to section off short term vs long term. We did have an issue getting ahold of anyone after hours. We were not able to make it before the office closed. After hour check in was easy but our space did not accommodate our RV due to a large tree. We called every number, text and emailed and never got a response. Thankfully there was an empty space next to the one reserved that we moved to. Other RV parks we have stayed are easily accessible after hours so that was disappointing. Dog park was completely dirt (which means it would be muddy if it rains). We did not enjoy that part because the dogs were so dirty afterwards, we had to give them a bath. Not much grass anywhere so thankful for concrete pads and roads. Also no fire ring which may be an Austin area thing but we enjoy sitting by the fire at night which we missed. They keep the RV park very clean and in order which we appreciated.

We stayed in our RV, so rooms are not applicable. The issue with the location was our assigned slot. The dump station was up hill from our RV, making it a challenge to dump. The two open slots on either side of us were downhill from the dump station. We could have been offered one of those locations. All else was good. Easy check-in. Quiet environment. Uber access was easy for trips into town. Would definitely stay again.

Noisy at night. Loud music after midnight. Had problems with laundry machines . Office is closed on Sunday so you’re mostly on your own. Found quests in pool area breaking rules. People drinking alcohol in glass bottles standing in the pool. Sites were clean but very close to each other. Restrooms filthy since they don’t clean on Sunday. Only good thing is location which is close to downtown Austin. Would suggest looking for another location.

I had a great stay at Oak Forest RV Resort. The park is clean, well-kept, and offers plenty of amenities that make it stand out. The sites are spacious, easy to pull into, and many have shade which is a big plus in Texas heat. The pool, hot tub, laundry area, and dog park are all very well maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location is also a major advantage—close enough to downtown Austin to get there quickly, but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet when you’re back at the resort. It feels safe, organized, and has a nice community vibe. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Oak Forest RV Resort to anyone visiting Austin. Whether you’re there short-term or long-term, it’s a solid choice with a balance of comfort, convenience, and good atmosphere.

The park is very well kept, our site was spotless and so was our neighbors from Tennessee. Not to mention the rest of the park and sites. We were furnished with a propane grill with gas and outdoor table and chairs that were all fairly new and is great quality. The shower rooms were private and large with key pad entry and the pool&hot tub looked very inviting even though we did not get a chance to utilize them. Check in and out was a breeze. Highly recommend this park.

No issues. Park's quiet during the day. Some slight road noise at night. Very few bugs in the area. Pull-thru's are a little tight and there might be trees surrounding your spot, so ensure you're parked in a way where your slides won't hit them. Wi-Fi was free for 3Mbps down / 1Mbps up and paid for anything faster. T-Mobile 5G was nearly 500Mbps down and over 50Mbps up. Cable TV has the most HD channels of any park I've visited so far. Overall, would recommend.

My friend just arrived to a beautiful concrete spot with grass separating sites and a few scattered trees. Definitely worth every dollar. However, I will be arriving to the park with my RV in a few days so I went to check out the spot I will be in, awful. It’s dirt, gravel, and wood chips completely covered by trees with no outdoor space for a table or chairs. The spots are extremely close together and there does not appear to be space to park my truck safely. I am paying just $100 less for this spot which is not worth it. The park is well kept with nice amenities, but be careful as you don’t know what kind of spot you will end up in. I was not told the drastic differences in sites. I asked about moving sites but they are completely booked. I feel blindsided. :(

One of the best RV Parks I’ve ever stayed at. The lots were amazing and concrete pads, they always held holiday events for the guests and ALWAYS make sure to include our children. Five stars just isn’t enough to rate this campground, I would give them many more if I could. They are located about ten minutes away from the heart of Austin and the community is very friendly, cleans, and quiet.
