The site we booked online was supposed to fit us we put in all measurements but when we arrive it wasn’t wide enough and when we went to the office they said all sights were a specific width when we measured they in fact were not they did let us move to a buffet site but we didn’t have any room we couldn’t even bring out our awning because it would have hit the camera next to us that’s how close they were. The park was clean but the bathrooms are really hot and very outdated same with the playground but overall it’s was manageable but definitely not a favorite though.

Booked a tent spot (no. 11) for two nights which had a nice open view of the lake. The weather was a bit dreary & drizzly, I fought to get my tent up (with some hilarity as it got swooped away several times!) due to a strong diagonal wind! Be sure to bring additional ties as securing a freestanding tent to a wooden deck has several challenges! I managed to anchor & wedge my tent pegs between the deck boards to ensure I would not get blown away! Due to the weather I only stayed 1 night. Showers were adequate but facilities could use a good clean and they really could benefit from a nice modern update, the cleaning guy came in & just swept!

Love the lake front property here, but I'll be honest thats where it ends, the parking spaces at this campground are super tight as in being very close to one another and narrow, so if you're looking to put out all your camping comforts like large outdoor mats, inflatables, extra chairs etc, etc, this might not be the place for you and your family. The pool is small and has a limit for the number of kids that will be allowed in, the water here may also contain a lot of iron and sediments as it has turned our filters a dark brown but they started as Lily white when we arrived for a 3-night stay. So please use filters here for your bathing and washing needs, you will have to share your water spigot and power pole with your neighbor, so bring a splitter, Also know that this location is located right near a highway so loud cars and semi trucks are a constant noise here. The shower rooms here are dated and deteriorating with no ventilation. So we decided to bathe on board our rig, I can safely say we will not be staying here again. Hope this info helps. Travel well.

An amazing experience this weekend! Clean campsites, WiFi, nice bath houses! Nice and clean pool! Such kind people everywhere and a beautiful view of the lake! So much to do, swim, kayak, boat, paddleboard or just walk around! If you have kids there’s a playground and the pool is 3ft-5ft deep with community use floats! To be very close to a highway, it is a very quiet campground and we will definitely come back!

I had a nice p31 spot on the lake. Morning sunrise was beautiful. I left a day early due to the horrendous heat and humidity. I had good distance from my neighbors. Some spots were very close. I was with a group, some in tents. Only the tent platforms on the water are acceptable. The one closest to the pool has no parking spot. You have to walk up a fairly steep hill from just parking alongside the road. Then you have to walk steeply uphill again to get to your picnic table. You have to lug all of your things up the hill. It should not be rented unless a driveway is put in it.

We stayed in section B of the Oak Hollow Campground. It was simply a large gravel parking lot for RVs/campers. We had full hook ups and paid $45 a night for our campsite. This was the worst physical campsite we have ever had… We stepped out of our camper and if we didn’t immediately turn we would hit our head on our neighbors slide out. There was not even enough room to set up a lawn chair between our camper and the camper next to us. The hook ups were lined up at the back of the parking spot for our camper which means we had to use a ton of extensions for our water, sewage, and power. There were not any trails at the park to walk our dogs but there was plenty of grass. The staff was very nice and the campground was gated. The laundry unit was a single washer and dryer outside of each of the shower/bathroom spots and were already closed at the end of November. They had two bathroom/shower houses. The campsite featured likely over 100 camper/rv spots so two bathroom/shower houses and 2 laundry machines would not be enough. If we were not seeing family in the area, we would not have stayed here. Campsite sections A and C seem to be much more spread out, if you’re wanting to be in this area. The campsite is in High Point and is near all the amenities that you would need.

Very clean campground! Awesome place to visit for tent camping. They have a 15 x 15 space deck platform right on the water. You can fish from your site, or pay to fish at the Marina near by. Bathrooms are clean with outlets inside to charge your devices. Nice staff they even brought us a fire pit to borrow because site #13 does not have one. They have one tent site that is available on a first come first serve basis. The open at 8am, so get there early and enjoy the sites. You can walk to the Marina. Strick on the amount of guest, and you cant check in without a tent (shocking). I guess to keep people from car tenting. Stayed an extra day! At times had the tent sites near us to ourselves (no obstructed views).

Nice park with good clean facilities. Ready access to the lake for fishing. The park is in a nice neighborhood but outside commercial areas. That means you can't zip over to a store for and item or two you forgot. Come prepared and relax.

Very nice and private place to stay. Staff nice don't bother u. Have Public restrooms and 3 private showers each, every lot has 20-30amp power hookup a water hookup two lots share and a sewage hookup, fishing spots, playgrounds, pool for swimming, Marine access, 8 tennis courts outside and an indoor court all within the lovely and beautiful view of the lake plus a small store/gift shop at the front office. Equipped with a locked gate with a code u get after paying to unlock if u leave after 10pm. Good get away and private peaceful campground with friendly neighbors.

Beautiful campground I never knew was right in my backyard. Very well maintained but much of the natural foliage seems to be missing. I did spot some pine and hickory trees. Bring your fishing poles. We were given a big mouth bass by some very kind fishermen. I enjoyed my stay immensely and can't wait to go back again. The ladies washroom has some bugs so be careful to wear shower shoes and only take a small bucket for your toiletries. Otherwise, no complaints.
