This is our 3rd year at Oak Knoll and we love this place. The owners are kind and helpful; the other campers are friendly; the campsites are large and shady. The entire campground is well maintained including the clean bathhouse and laundry room. Lake access, across the street, is convenient and swimming there is delightful. Boating and fishing is convenient. We are already looking forward to next year!

Right off the bat the owners and his parents are super nice. Campground was clean and place for kids area to roam nearby. They also have Starlink internet, was most of the time had good connection. Which most campground don't have in the middle of no where. Only thing that I would complain is about the bathrooms. They were cleaned daily and had plenty of pressure for showers. Through needs to updated. There needs a private area to dress after showering.

Absolutely loved this campground. It is a family owned campground and they are working on updates. It was our first time camping there and it was perfect. They gave us a nice electric site to fit four adults that had two cars and tents. The campground was close to the Lewis Farm and Adventure zoo where we spent the day at. The campground was pretty quiet and easy to walk around. I loved that they did activities and had a hiking trail. Keep in mind cell service may be spotty but we enjoyed not having to pay attention to our phones and just be outside. We are looking forward to future visits to this campground.

This place is a hidden gem! Its a well kept campsite that offers eveeything from a place to pop a tent to renting their RV campers! Its clean and QUIET overall. They are central to everything needed! Walmart is within 20 min and Michigans Adventure is 15 min away!. Location is prime. We will be coming back again. We rented the Shadow Cruiser which was very nice. Only thing we recommend with the shadow cruiser is to bring pillow top sheets for a little more comfort but other than that minor detail this place is the bomb.

When you're at this family campground you feel like part of their family. We just got back from an amazing weekend here. Dave and Jenny were fantastic from the start. Jenny would host bingo at night and would drive to each campsite to see who wanted to play and it was a lot of fun! Dave is normally in the office/store and is extremely helpful! The store is packed with the basic camping essentials and brochures of activities in the area. Dave is also very good at providing recommendations for things to do as well and even offered to call a kayak rental company for us since we had no cell service. The campground itself I would day is a nice medium size campground with nice size lots big enough for two tents. Some sites are electric and offer water as well, but we stayed with a basic suite with no water of electric. Fire pits are on each site but one thing they didn't have which a lot of other campsites we've been to have are grilling grates that go over the fire pit. So if you're looking to cook your meals over the fire like we did you may want to bring one with. Bathrooms, yes this campsite has working plumbing and showers as well. While I was skeptical on their cleanliness I was very surprised by how clean they were and by campground standards they were extremely clean. The shower area had a nice changing area and the water was nice and hot. As far as things to do on the grounds itself. This place has a nice playground for kids, a volleyball net, basketball hoop, horse shoes, and corn hole. Also don't worry if you don't have the stuff for it cause you can borrow it from the main office. There's also a little hiking trail towards the back which has fun things to try and find a long the way. I've been to many campground and this one is one of my absolute favorites. The staff is amazing, the sites are well kept, and it's a great place to relax and have fun.
