Amazingly helpful staff. We have been camping in Michgan for over 40 years and this by far our favorite campground. Vicksburg the town nearby has everthing you need Grogery Store, resturants, Barber, Pubs, Post Office Etc, The gounds are always emaculate, play goround is safe and lots for kids to do, lots of shade, great pool and bath house. Try it you'll like it.

We’ve stayed here a few times and they have always been very friendly and helpful. On our most recent stay, they went above and beyond in helping us. We had truck issues about 2 miles from the campground and our truck had to be towed for repairs. They found someone to come pull our 5th wheel to the campsite and then helped us find someone to move it again to a storage area. We are extremely grateful to the owners and their staff as well as the amazing campers who came to our rescue!

We stayed here 3 days and loved this campground. The owners are very congenial and helpful. There are laundry facilities, a pool and pool house. The office has a store with most items that one would need. Very accommodating owners. Campground is extremely well cared for. We will come again.

The staff here is incredibly nice! The fellow campers as well. It is a beautiful little campground that appears to be very well maintained. The store/office is wonderful and bathrooms were very clean (I was super impressed with the ones by the pool, the pool was great too, by the way 😁) The staff had planned some wonderful weekend activities for the whole family this memorial weekend and there was so much fun and laughter to be had. The only (and I do mean ONLY) downside was that the lake leaves much to be desired. There is no beach area and the lillies have taken over the surface area. This is the only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5. It is possible to get a kayak in there but that is all. That being said, we were very impressed with the campground itself and really loved our time at this campground and would LOVE to come back.

This camp ground is surround by beautiful nature! The staff was super friendly and the bathrooms were always very clean! It was convenient to be able to do laundry at the campsite if needed. I would give it five stars but the camp sites were pretty small, that would be my only complaint. Over all, I recommend, and I hope to come back again!

Oak Shores Resort was a diamond in the rough. On our way to the west side of Michigan we needed a few day layover before our more long term site would be available. We chose Oak Shores as it was close to Kalamazoo, our old stomping grounds. We could not have been more pleasantly surprised. The layout of the campground seemed so that no one would have a bad site. Every one of them, but just a few seemed to back up to nature and ours was among the best. The full hookups worked like a dream. We had perfect cellular service, even though we hadn't expected it. My wife was able to attend all of her meetings from the trailer with no issue. The ample shade made the site feel very wooded and beautiful. We hadn't expected much, because again we just picked something that would work for the weekend and near Kalamazoo. We will definitely make some stops here again in the future.

My wife and I and our four kids stayed at oak shores. That being said, I have a question for you. Do you remember camping as a child and loving the campground you stayed at? This is what it felt like to stay here. Upon arrival, other guests were eager to help us get parked and set up. It was late so we had dinner and went to bed. The next day we met some neighbors and our kids started to play wiffle ball. Pretty soon all the kids in the campground joined them. I noticed a golf cart cruising around and it was the lady from the store handing out popcicles to everyone... Adults too. That night a neighbor was showing a Projected movie on a screen at his site. The neighbor beside us made everyone popcorn... You don't get that at the resorts. This place captured my heart by the small things and I'm sure it will yours as well. My kids are begging to go back. Soon we will be returning. Oak shores is truly a hidden Gem.

I’ve been going here for as long as I can remember and it is my favorite summer pastime. The owners are fantastic. The lakes, ponds, bathrooms, and stores are always clean and tidy. The staff will sometimes put in holiday events and they are one of the best things to do. I love this place with all my heart and recommend it to anyone who is looking for something fun to do with their family.

The owners are wonderful. The campground is kept up very well. It is very quiet and peaceful! We really enjoyed our stay there and hope to obtain a seasonal spot next summer.
