We stayed in August 2025 in cabin 3.. it really could be such a cute spot if you just put a bit of effort into replacing furnishings such a the pullout couch and chair which was so uncomfortable and leaning on an angle, and the toilet which just run constant and take the creepy pictures down.. just a bit of TLC would go along way for these places..

We enjoyed our stay in the Pine Valley Cabin #4. Clean, spacious. Beautiful location.

We stayed in Cabin 3 in Aug 2025. It was a good time, however a few things to consider for the owners. The furniture was old & uncomfortable. The pull out couch had springs coming through & the chair had no support. The toilet did not flush well & had to remove the tank too top to help it flush. The pictures were spooky & old or falling out of the frame. The flounce on the window has not been washed in a very long time. A little bit of an off white paint & some updated furniture & window coverings would make the cabin feel more welcoming. It’s sad to see a cabin empty beside us in the midst of vacation season kind of tells it all. Take pride in your business so it can flourish in these times when more Canadians r staying close to home.

The first time I came to this place I was a kid, it was for a family holiday back in 2004. We came here 3 years in a row and rented a cabin. It was a different owner back then. There was planned activities for the kids daily games in the pool, bingo, daily craft, always something going on in the clubhouse to bring the kids together) the wagon rides were daily at 7pm and one of the camp workers always had all of us signing camp songs like "hermen the worm, we are the campers," I returned this previous weekend 21 years later with my 4 year old son and my mother knowing it was "updated" and changed owners. We rented the same cabin we rented when I was a child and found that the furniture was still the same furniture that was there 21 years ago. The pull out couch you couldn't sleep on because the springs were hitting your back. The box springs in the loft are completely rotted out. There is less activities now, the wagon rides no longer have any songs. There is a craft but you pick it up and go back to your campsite and do it alone, the campground was lacking that togetherness feeling it used to have. The carnival was fun but, again wasn't as advertised on the website like when we originally booked the food trucks weren't there. It seemed as though if you weren't a seasonal regular they didn't really care about how your stay was. We brought to the offices attention a couple times about feeling like somebody was in our cabin when we weren't there (yes the door was locked) and got told to lock our door and got told more or less sorry that's weird. Upon learning it was our cabin neighbours using our cabin we decided to check out early I informed that office staff again, they asked at that point if I wanted to talk to management. I opted not to and said just please report it because at this point I was fed up, Our cabin neighbours were using our porch, hung a hammock by our fire pit, stuck gum to our door, and we are 90% sure were in our cabin. It wasn't the experience we were hoping for and wasn't the memories I was hoping to relive with my son. Photo just to show how excited we were to come/ we brought our original photos with us.

We stayed 5 nights here in our motorhome with 3 children aged 11 to 16. We had a full service, pull through site with trees and lots more space than most private campgrounds we have stayed at. Staff and seasonal campers were all very friendly. Washrooms and showers were clean. Three swimming pools, mini golf, multiple playgrounds throughout the park and other fun stuff for kids. Close to Pinery Provincial Park, Grand Bend and a drive-in movie theater. We would definitely come here again.
