We camped with friends in our RV - beautiful park with many amenities. The park is in the middle of horse country and the area is incredible to see - certainly not the Florida landscape that everyone expects. Service was great and we had a wonderful time. Would certainly go back!

We absolutely LOVE Southern Hammock RV Resort! This place truly feels like home every time we pull in. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by friendly staff and an incredible sense of community that’s hard to find anywhere else. The resort is beautifully maintained, the sites are spacious, and there is always something fun going on—festivals, themed parties, pickleball, live music, and gatherings that make it easy to meet people and build lasting friendships. It’s the kind of place where neighbors become family. If you’re looking for more than just an RV park—if you want a lifestyle, connection, and unforgettable memories—Southern Hammock is it. We can’t recommend it enough and look forward to coming back again and again!

We had a great time! It was a little cold but so much fun. The staff was very friendly. Always someone available. We loved all the services available. Trash pick up, propane service (picked up the tanks, filled them and returned in a short time). The people who cleaned our rig did a great job and very reasonable. We would come back. If I had something negative to say it would be that we had to travel half an hour for groceries but now we know to come better prepared.

Very Clean park. Showers and all facilities were super nice and clean. Pull throughs were long and fit big rigs well. Lots of full timers and tiny homes. Pleasant stay. WiFi was excellent for a park this size. We would stop again on our trips in and out of Florida.

Resort is amazing. Very nice sites and staff is very friendly. Stayed only a week end of October so activities were just starting. Food trucks daily which is a nice bonus as no close restaurants. Convenient being right off of I-75. Would definitely stay again.

This is one of the nicest overnight stops that we’ve experienced in many years of traveling during the winter months. The resort is well designed and feels like a small town. The sites are all well maintained. This is a real gem of a resort.

BYOCamper We stayed at ONRR at the beginning of October. This is our second time within the year. We love it. Great staff that have warm personalities. It’s clean, spacious, convenient to other stores with plenty to do if you like outdoor activities. We’re always passing through but we love the setting. It’s 2 mins off the Interstate but you don’t hear the noise. We’ll definitely be back on our next adventure!

We absolutely loved our time at Ocala North RV Park! The park is clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained — you can tell the staff takes real pride in keeping everything in top shape. The sites are spacious and easy to access, with plenty of room for both our RV and outdoor setup. The amenities are great — from the pool and clubhouse to the laundry facilities, everything was spotless and convenient. The staff and management were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great local recommendations. It’s a peaceful, welcoming place that truly feels like home. Whether you’re staying for a night or the season, Ocala North RV Park is one of the best spots in the area. Highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning entrance! Only stayed one night and found it quiet and relaxing! We arrived after office hours and found our paperwork in the night box. The welcome gifts were a nice touch! Will definitely be a stop/stay in our travels! Oh…location…1 mile off I-75…Thank you for a clean and beautiful place!

This is a beautiful park. There are annual and seasonal residents but all spaces are very well maintained. The organization of activities are great from corn hole, bocci ball, pickleball and shuffleboard. A great way to meet new folks and have fun. The pool area is very nice. Did not use the bath houses or restrooms but the exteriors all looked very well maintained. It is close to I75 so you do hear the road noise but the woods surrounding are beautiful and help decrease the sound. Located in the beautiful part of Marion County where all of the horse farms are still up and running.

We had a great stay at this RV park in Ocala with the family! Everything was so beautiful, clean, and well-organized. The grounds were peaceful and well-kept, and it really felt like a perfect little getaway. The staff was super friendly and helpful too. It was just a nice, relaxing experience all around. Definitely coming back!

We stayed for 3 months in a 5th wheel 43.5 ft in site 71.... We absolutely loved this place!!! From the second we pulled in everyone was extremely helpful and organized. Two gentlemen helped us back into our site. The early morning trash pick up and the propane refill service was extremely helpful! The whole park is kept very well! They are on top of their maintenance. We always felt safe, the activities they offer are so much fun! They have food trucks visit through out the week! Close enough to bigger cities without having to be in the mix of it all. The other campers are very nice and welcoming. We've been RV-ing since early 2023 and this is definitely my favorite place so far!

What an absolute hidden gem! We recently stayed here for a week at site 376 and LOVED it. The locals are all so friendly. My two sons couldn't get enough of pickleball and shuffleboard which were very well kept. The pool was always clean and warm. The grounds were always in tip top shape. It was an awesome perk to have the option of a food truck on some nights they had those. I loved the accessibility of the laundry room. Lots of dog parks and room to walk your dogs. It was always very quiet. So far this is the best campground we've ever been to. We're already planning a longer trip next year. Thank you so much for having us, Ocala North!! We'll be seeing you! 😜

This is our first time staying at Ocala North RV park and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to extend our stay an extra month! We also reserved a spot for next winter. We couldn’t be happier here. There are many different sites to choose from, in a variety of sizes, locations all with a different feel that will appeal to a range of personalities. We wanted more privacy with a bit of a view, and we sure did end up with just what we wanted. Tina worked with us until we were happy. All of the staff that you will meet around the grounds are extremely friendly and helpful. The bathrooms, pool and clubhouse, Pickleball courts, and extra amenities are very clean and well cared for. The park is quiet and a peaceful place to stay, yet offers many activities for those that want to stay busy. The prices are very reasonable as well. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay here in Ocala North. We are new to RVing and this staff helped us every step of the way.

This is a beautiful rv park! It's huge. Everyone is so friendly. We will definitely be back. The scenery is beautiful! Nice pool, nice bathrooms. They have a place to refill your propane, but they don't sell ice or firewood.
