We stayed for a night. The place was clean and accessible. Very helpful and attentive personnel. Recommend this park.

We needed a 1 night stay at a campground. My husband called the number and got the recording that the office was closed, but there were spots available and we could check-in from outside the office. That's what we did! It is $54.00 a night if you have Good Sam's, AAA, AARP, or military. Otherwise it is $60.00.. The bathrooms were older but clean. Most of the sites were level, pull through, and full hook up (some 30 amp and some 50 amp). The staff was very nice. It is right beside I-75. Cracker Barrel is close to it. It was easy in and easy out. I highly recommend it!

This was just an overnight stop off interstate 75. We were heading to the Disney World Wilderness campground in Orlando, Florida. We have the "RV LIFE " app, so we can search for rv parks on our trips. Even though Ocala RV Camp Resort had several 1-star reviews, we didn't have much of a choice because several others in the area were full with the snowbirds. My wife called around 4:30 pm. and a recorded message said that they were out of the office, but there were several overnight full hookup campsites available, and it was a self check in. Well, we were glad that the lady on the message advised there were sites available. We got there about 5:30 pm (Easy access off I-75 on a service road). In the kiosh by the front door of the office were good simple instructions with a few envelopes with the site numbers on each one. All the sites were up front. Pick your site and fill out the check-in sheet in the envelope with payment, and slip it into the mail slot in the door. It was $54 with my "Good Sam: discount. We chose site #89. It was grass, but level. All the hookups worked, and we were happy to have a place to rest the night. It appears to be an old KOA. We were satisfied with our overnight stay, no complaints whatsoever. Showers worked fine with hot water. Other than road noise from the interstate (which we like ), it was peaceful. BTW... They had a lot of northerners camping through the winter, but they were in the back part of the campground. The reason for 4 stars instead of more or less is because we only stayed overnight. Happy Camping :)

After weather predictions of heavy snow and ice in the south the third week in January 2025, we altered our travel plans to escape it all in Ocala. Of course last minute plans and requests and a Federal holiday made it a challenge to book anything online or even have a phone call answered everywhere we checked. The local Wal-Mart does not allow overnight parking. The Cracker Barrel was VERY full and as we pulled down the road from Cracker Barrel, we happened to see and simply pulled in to Ocala RV Resort at closing time. We were greeted with a YES and that we could finish up the details in the morning. We simply needed a place to stay and this became our rescue in the dark. The people were friendly. Wifi was available in the lounge if needed. It was cold and nothing else was on our list. We are grateful for this Park and the graciousness they extended when we were at the end if our rope.

Places is a dump no wifi restrooms are trash water lines rusted in bathrooms and the pond has snakes in it it. Also the two grumpy old lady up front are very rude and disrespectful towards anyone and everyone screaming they will say there from the north just they don't care don't let me mention they have so small dog that was peeing inside the office and the old lady's act like they didn't see it disgusting place don't recommend.

Not that impressed. This used to be a KOA and is not now for some reason. You park on the grass, no concrete or gravel pads. No picnic table unless you ask for one. No fires allowed. Lots of junky campers hanging out here long term. Buildings are run down. Right next to I-75 and noise is very loud. If wanted to refill my built in motor home propane tank along with a separate grill tank. They refilled the motor home tank and charged me for what they put in. The portable tank was half full and they said they don’t meter those, just charge you for a whole tank. So I passed on that. That’s totally asinine

We needed an overnight spot as we traveled through the area. This was okay for our needs. Showers were mostly clean, had nice pressure and hot water, but not much privacy. Since we tow our jeep behind our 32' motor home and prefer to avoid unhooking for just one night, we were glad to reserve a 50 foot pull-through. But the pull-through had the hookups four feet from the rear of the site. I suppose that's fine for travel trailers and people with really long extension cords, but we had to unhook. Sites were close, but level and there are some grassy areas. The fenced dog park is appreciated. Lots of permanent residents, and there is nothing wrong with that, but there is also lots of clutter. All in all, there's nothing really bad about this place, but there's nothing really great about it either.

I love this campground. The staff are very friendly and generous with help and making you feel welcome. The bathrooms and the shower are awesome, clean and the water pressure for the showers is the best!!! I’ve been here a few times and can really relax with peace and quiet. Highly recommend this as a stop or a long stay…. You’ll also appreciate the great pricing as they are very reasonable and much much less then nearby hotels and other campgrounds
