The Salt Springs campground offers great convenience for travelers. We appreciated the paved roads not only throughout the main area, but also right into the campsites, making for easy setup. The facilities were excellent, with clean bathrooms and shower stalls. Best of all, the beautiful spring itself is right there to enjoy. It's a wonderful, convenient spot if you're passing through the area.

I spent a weekend camping near a large natural spring. The spring has only one entrance, and it is completely surrounded by a metal fence. The area is well maintained, with several picnic tables and many oak trees providing shade. The water is clear and cold, and the surroundings create a peaceful atmosphere. During the day, I walked around the area and enjoyed the calm environment. At night, the temperature dropped

Loved this spring unlike other springs in the area this one wasn't as busy, and was far less expensive. For a family of 4 it was about $40 for the day. There is plenty of shade, picnic tables, restrooms are also onsite right as you enter. They have grills (first come basis) alot of people brought their own grills, canopy tents, coolers, and chairs. The water is a bit chilly which is expected but there are other springs that are far colder. The kids loved it, and didn't complain. Great place to snorkel lots of big fish, and blue crabs. There are several cave type areas where the spring water comes up. Just be aware of fearless little ones attempting things they shouldn't. The steps going down to the water, as well as the rocks in the spring are extremely slippery. Walk slow, or bring water shoes.

What a beautiful place. The campground is so spacious with really large spots that are spread out nicely. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and organized. The trees are to die for, just beautiful. The springs where you swim are incredible. Nice and shallow for easy swimming and the picnic area is to die for, just spectacular. Don't be afraid of the first come first serve policy. Half of the spots can be reserved but the other half are first come first serve. When we pulled out on Tuesday there were no campers left but the area where you could reserve was pretty full. This place is gorgeous, don't pass it up !!!!!

This is the perfect place to relax! The recreational area is well-organized and kept clean. The staff is friendly and very capable. I even captured a bear on my night-vision camera! Just remember to follow all the rules and store food properly, and everything will be fine. The springs are lovely, and you can dive into three different caves. It's not crowded at all, and the area is super clean. It's beautiful, and we will definitely come back!

Will always give this campground a five mostly because the staff is AHHHMAZZING! Sites are level and the park is clean! We don't use the showers or bathrooms as we have all we need in our motorhome! The one issue we do have from this trip is the amount of Marijuana being smoked outside of people's campers! It is still illegal unless you have a medical card..and I'm pretty sure that passing a joint around to 6 others at your campsite isn't legal as well! For those of us that do not participate in this, its hard to be outside on your site when all you smell is Marijuana! First time in site 63 and we have stayed many times and it was a little rough getting in. Its quite small and near the bathrooms. Had to drive on the grass across the way to be able to back in otherwise great stay per always!Salt springs pizza has the best homemade Tiramisu this side of the mason dixon!

I almost don’t want to leave a review because I don’t want more people to come here. The friendly staff at the front office and camp hosts keep the grounds well maintained. The wildlife, hiking trails, and campsites are awesome. Sure the springs are great too, but everyone knows about them, it’s even in the name. But everything else makes this a go to place from here on in whenever I come back to Florida.

Awesome campsite. Full hookups and well maintained. Quiet respectful campers. Only downsides is the proximity to the highway. You can hear road noise throughout the day/night. I was at full hook up site 42, a little closer to the highway, so maybe on the other side of the campground it's not so bad. Overall though, I found it very peaceful. We camped at Jeanie springs and it was party town, this was a way much nicer atmosphere. Quiet and peaceful. The springs were clear, and in the winter time, only a couple swimmers. Pretty water. Lots of fish, and a good ammount of blue crabs to look at.

Beautiful park! Went in our camper, brought our kayaks and had a lovely time. The water was beautiful, the park is very well maintained! RV spots are easy in and out, and lots of room! We will definitely be back!

It's beautiful there. The springs were awesome. If I could give more stars I would. Just wish camp sites were spread out a bit more.

Great place to take the fam. The spring is perfect year round. Plenty of room to ride your bikes or take a walk on the trails there is also a boat ramp. The staff was friendly and very helpful. If you are a tech junkie though you will be in some serious withdrawal there is 0 cell reception out there only way to reach out to society is the wifi at the rangers station so all in all great place to get away from the rustle and bustle of city life. Would highly recommend going.

The campsite is great. But no running water in tent camping area restroom. No hot water at all. Was not posted or were we notified at time of check in about water/shower issues. Remodeling going on. We just arrived today. Have a couple of weeks to go. Hope the hot water shower issues are resolved SOON.

Great park... Springs were refreshing. The park personnel the rangers were very polite. Make sure you bring stuff with you local stores are a little expensive nearest Walmart is about 30 minutes out.
