Place is beautiful and well kept. Not many sites with sewer and the dump station location was not well thought out You will wait hours at the end of a weekend if you want to pump out. They need more and not all located at the entrance/exit. Electricity was sketchy but I think that may have been isolated to my site. Maintenance response was “nothing I can do” so we could not use our A/C or water heater for the weekend. One of the nicest campground pool areas I’ve ever seen.

Excellent RV resort in CT with hot tub and well maintained facilities. Lots of rules but the place was largely clean, quiet and comfortable. The place is big, so you can find a more private spot or closer to the activity facilities. We opted for a quiet site in the hills. The only drawback is this bath has only 2 main bathhouses which can be a bit of a walk. I think they should add a couple of small bathrooms without showers to provide better coverage. There is no golf carts unless there is a disability. Nice that there is less golf cart traffic, but there is a fair amount of walking required if your site is not near the facilities. We drove our car to the pool (parking was limited and closer restricted to 15 minutes only). They pick up trash throughout the day (it may be better if they pick just 1 time to limit trash being missed and eaten by animals over night). A few things could make this place even better, but it is still 5 stars for a lot of good reasons: nice store, clean facilities, great layout, lots of amenities other campgrounds do not offer. See you all there in the future.

Great Campground! Great staff! Clean, Well-kept grounds and facilities. Depending on your preference you can be camping or glamping with the different site options and your setup. Many activities for the whole family, live music on the beach is one of my favorites. The beautiful newly remodeled pool/hot tub/splash pad provide a perfect place to keep the kids busy and cool and for the adults to relax and enjoy the scenic view of the lake. There are cabana rentals for those who desire more shade and luxury at an added cost, a little steep for us. Well stocked camp store for any forgotten necessities and fun toys/candy for the kids. Though the overall cost is higher than most campgrounds in the area, so is the experience. You get what you pay for!

First.....This is a superb place for families! The pool and hot tub are spectacular along with the beautiful lake for kids. We chose a site way too far in the woods thinking it was the only one a big rig would fit but we should have taken one to back into because it made the distance too far for older folks (us) to walk to anything. Many/most of the best sites are lower in the campground and taken by seasonal campers. Con: no sewer hook ups in the upper woods or very few other spots. READ the rules first, they are not guest friendly which didn't bother us at all!

My wife and I stayed here with our 1 and a half year old recently for what was supposed to be a two night stay but we were having a good time and enjoying ourselves, so we decided to stay for one more night. We booked one of the premier cabins which includes AC, shower/toilet and cooking capabilities with indoor stove top and outside grill. This was mainly because of our little guy and we wanted him to enjoy himself which in turn would allow us to relax and have a good time as well. The cabin was super clean inside and out. silverware, pots and pans and dishware provided were all immaculate. Grill outside was practically brand new. Pool and splash pad were amazing (basically had the place to ourselves, we stayed mid week so the place wasn't too crowded). The lake was beautiful. The staff at the front desk were friendly and super helpful with any questions we had. We stayed off season so some of the offered amenities were not open yet, but we look forward to staying again when they are available. There are a lot of things to do for kids (boats, mini golf, playground and themed weekends). Overall we thought the place was great and can't wait to be back!

It was an awesome first camping trip for our young family! Our 1 year old absolutely loved the splash pad! Plenty of things to do and just a short drive for many day trip destinations! We will be back. Will bump this to 5 stars if.. some of the broken water features will be fixed at the splash pad for our next visit. The oasis menu needs help… the fried everything menu is not for everyone. I mean some fried stuff is good but some variety on the menu would be more appealing. Go back to offering pizza at the “like the older menu on the website had” pizzadillas or what ever you call them are not appealing… Better attention to the ice cream stand would be a big plus.. we went during a quiet midweek period but for some reason the we out of about half of the options on the menu and were lacking the ingredients to make most of their featured sundaes…

We had such a great experience this past summer. Very much looking forward to many years of camping but these folks. My kids loved it as much as we did.

Loved Odetah. The staff is very accommodating. The marketplace has everything you need. There are plenty of activities for kids. Overall a very beautiful place. We used the cabins and enjoyed our stay the cabins were clean. Most importantly the bathrooms are well taken care of and clean.
