Offshore RV Park

Overview

Offshore RV Park offers a modern resort experience nestled on the scenic banks of the Mississippi River. Unlike traditional rustic campgrounds, this destination is part of a larger resort complex that combines the freedom of RV travel with the luxuries of a hotel and entertainment hub. The park provides a vibrant, social atmosphere where travelers can enjoy waterfront relaxation and premium recreational facilities, making it a standout choice for those exploring the Upper Mississippi River Valley.

Location & Surroundings

Located in the charming town of Bellevue, Iowa, the park is situated within the unique topography of the Driftless Area. The surrounding landscape is defined by towering limestone bluffs and the expansive river, offering picturesque views from nearly every angle. Guests are positioned just a short drive from the historic heart of Bellevue, allowing for easy access to local culture while remaining immersed in the natural beauty of eastern Iowa’s riverfront corridor.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is engineered for comfort and convenience, featuring spacious sites with full hookups and level concrete pads that accommodate various rig sizes. The primary draw for many visitors is the impressive aquapark and swimming pond, which features large inflatable obstacles for guests of all ages. Additionally, the resort offers an on-site restaurant and bar, a traditional swimming pool, and well-maintained shower facilities, ensuring a seamless stay for those who value modern infrastructure.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Adventure seekers will find plenty to do just minutes from the park. A visit to Bellevue State Park is essential for its hiking trails and breathtaking overlooks of the river valley. History buffs can spend time at Lock and Dam No. 12, observing the massive barges navigating the river’s lock system. For a change of pace, the historic downtown district offers boutique shopping and local dining, while the nearby Maquoketa Caves State Park provides a subterranean adventure for day-trippers.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is an ideal destination for active families and groups who enjoy a high-energy, resort-style environment. It is particularly well-suited for travelers who appreciate having on-site dining and professional recreational amenities at their fingertips. Because of its big-rig friendly layout and polished facilities, it is a top choice for RVers who prefer a social, well-appointed vacation spot over a secluded or primitive camping experience.

It had a nice restaurant, we had good food and cold beer. However, we reserved a waterfront site and lucky us our view was blocked by large electric boxes that served everyone that had great views. We had no WiFi it wasn’t even offered. No television channels, no public restrooms and we didn’t even use the pool or beach because of the crowds. They brought us wood, but it was too wet to burn, and cost 30$. It was the most expensive place I’ve ever camped in . We camped on the beach in Galveston for much better price and had cable and great WiFi. The area and nearby towns were lovely And the people were so friendly, and we had friends nearby so it wasnt a total loss but it never again.

We had a beautiful spot along the River. The RV park is clean and well maintained. It is the most expensive place we have stayed - short term. One would think that I could expect flawless internet service, but no. The worst service I have experienced since dial up AOL! For these prices - DO BETTER!

Love this place for a weekend glamping trip, but nothing more. Kids love the pool.Nice concrete pads. Needs more trees & a hot tub. There's not much to do in the area, but you can day trip to Galena from here

My family of 4 spent 5 nights here in one of the Villas. Couldn't have been happier with the villa very new, extremely new and stylish. The pool and staff was top notch and beautiful scenery of the river. The town of Bellevue is nice and very cool little town. Would highly recommend visiting.
