Great location if you're into dry camping. No hookups. Bathrooms are about the cleanest we've found in a campground. Water from the spigot is very good! Close proximity to Mt Ranier National Park.

Small and remote, but there was an outhouse and defined spots. Lots of pull offs along the way to explore and a great place to see larch trees change the color of their pine needles for the fall.

Old growth forest; spacious, private sites with lots of understory. Our camp hosts, Jason and Michelle, were amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable ... just the best. They work hard to keep the place pristine and it shows. We will be back.

Good campground. I stayed in site ,006 which had sufficient privacy. Lot of tree around. Ground was flat to lay down the tent. There was a fire pit with metal grate on top for grilling but sadly there was fire ban Pit toilets were suprisingly clean ( for a pit toilet) though a bit smelly on couple occasions...there is a drinking water spigot near by. You can walk to the river which was pretty shallow so we could not fish there. Lots of mosquitoes...take bug spray..

Pull thru #2 is mostly level. Plenty of space on the spot to put up a tent. Nice fire pit. Picnic table was ok, but looked well used, even had a burnt spot on it where somebody was careless with a tabletop BBQ. Beautiful campground, fully paved with paved parking at each campsite. Camp hosts are very active, patrol the campground regularly and have plenty of firewood available for sale.

Nice quiet campground with a camp host on site. Trail down to river on the Northeast side (moderate to difficult).

The lodgepole campground is great for the price and close proximity to Tipsoo. Most of the campsites don’t offer much in the way of privacy. Most of the campsites are also extremely* dusty compared to any other campsites we’ve been to. Overall it’s still a great camping area, we stay atleast once a year.

Excellent facilities. Arrived Saturday, left Monday morning. Vault toilets, stinky but that's a given. Otherwise clean. Campground (26) was so awesome. Right next to the river. Beautiful ecosystem. Tons of neat lichens. Watch out for the large crickets - great grig. They're a little spooky to .. well. Anyone. 😂😂😂 Seeing how the forest is recovering from the fires is fascinating. Our neighbors were quiet, respectful. Will absolutely be coming back.

Return trip. Love these campgrounds. They are well taken care of, clean, and the bathrooms smell fantastic (all things considered). Definitely worth a quick drive over Chinook Pass for some quiet camping by the stream.
