Other than the river, there isn't much to do. There is one trail but only 1/4 mile. If you get a site next to the road like we did, it can get super loud. If you're looking for a place just to do nothing and relax, this would be a great spot. There are photos of a waterfall, but we never found it

Lovely campground with large, fairly flat sites. Many have river access. We went mid week just after Memorial Day and it was almost empty. However, my husband found two ticks on him while we were there so make sure to check for them each day.

Our family has been camping here for 20 years. Still love the campsites and the river access, but the campground is in need of routine cleaning and maintenance! We arrived to our campsites well after check-in and it was apparent it had not been cleaned. Trash, cigarette butts filled fire pit, food remnants. This did not help the wasp/yellow jacket infestation. They were really bad this year…actually the worst ever! We literally had to eat our meals in our tents or vehicles. We camped for 4 days and there was never anyone cleaning the campground, campsites as people left, or the vault toilets…which were ABSOLUTELY UNBEARABLE!

Tucked along the Naches River, the Sawmill Flat Campground has some of the best camping sites in the state. A number of them front the river and offer low bank access so you can pull up a chair and eat your breakfast or dangle your feet in the river. They’re well spaced and have ample room for a large tent. Improbably, we found not a single bug there on a mid-August visit.

This was a nice campsite off if the 410 highway. There are spots right next to the river where you can swim or fish. There are outhouses and a water pump. The sites are $18 per night.
