Visited a client here and got a first hand look at the park, my friend was very excited to tell me about all the great things here in this park. I may try a short stay myself soon to see for myself how good it is.

Had a blast . If I was gonna complain about anything, it would be lawn mowers on the golf course at five or six in the morning would wake me up. Other than that, I enjoyed the company of strangers and the heated pool in March.

Love this KOA. We’re full timers in a RV and love the location. The staff is amazing including the bar staff. And you heard that right….. they have an onsite bar, two pools, golf course and many other amenities. The entire team works to please everyone. Thank you for the hassle free stays!

First KOA experience. I loved it. My only complaints are beds were stiff and the pool/hot tub closes at sun down. However, over all I would come back. Friendly residents, quiet atmosphere, outdoor firepits at our cabins, TV's, and the necessities for a simple easy vacation.

All in all this place was great! My kids and I had a blast spending time with our family here. The cabin wherein we stayed in was nice and clean, but the shower was a little bit of an issue. It would either get really cold and then scolding hot. The kids pool was a great place for my kids. We enjoyed the shuffleboard court, but it could use new paint and all around a good cleaning. My kids were very disappointed because the playground was roped off and looked so beat up The general store was very nice and all the employees were helpful and friendly. All in all, it could use a good clean up, but, we’ll definitely return in the future.

Absolutely loved this KOA! The staff made sure to keep things clean and well cared for. The children loved it as well. Would definitely like to come back again!

The problem is that everything is catered to the over 55 homeowners. The games, the pool, the bar and the restaurant. The people who live there are brutal condo commando for sure. Being it is listed as a KOA this should not be allowed kids should have something to do, or make whole park over 65. It’s a shame because it is so nice and unless you are 55 over you can’t enjoy.

Perhaps for a person with an RV, especially monthly or seasonal, this would be a hit. For us, it didn’t really rate as high as other KOA sites here in Florida or elsewhere. Cabin was clean, bath house clean, staff fairly friendly. Everything was so crammed in together though. I’d rather they had assigned us cabin 3 or 4, as cabin 5 has it so if you used your fire ring or table, you felt like you were actually in your neighbors lap. I sat on the porch swing to relax just to be looking directly into our neighbors RV. So for us personally it’s a one and done, but only because there’s other great choices we like better at a cheaper price. We did do a video though, and that can be found on our channel on YouTube (Hammocks to Coasters).

Thank you KOA for bringing Larry Johnson and The Essence of Motown to Okeechobee! Larry, Mike and Greg put on a FANTASTIC show complete with the choreography and costumes of the 60's. I've seen Larry in concert before and he's never disappointed but this show was even more incredible with the live band and featured the talented female vocalist Cande Rivers! They brought such energy and was engaged with the crowd, they even did an encore! Thank you Kevin, Chris, Andrea and all the staff on site who made this event happen. Can't wait to do it again!

This was an amazing show! First set was Earth, Wind and Fire! Second set was Motown and it was even better! We would love to hear them again!
