We stayed at this campground for 2 months while my husband went to school in Calgary and I would definitely stay again! Since its located in the middle of Okotoks everything is a short drive or walk. It's right off the river so there are lots of paths for walking or biking and its just a short drive into the city. All of the staff were super friendly. Just make sure you listen to them when they say to watch your stuff at night.. we lost a case of beer and a $100 cooler to some thieves over night. Not their fault though! Highly recommend!!

We have stayed at this campground for 3 years in the summer while our daughters get settled in for billeting for hockey. The campground does the trick for sure. Water, sewer are set up nice. The sites are close together, so the neighbours hookups are on the boundary of your site. The traffic can be loud at times. Police and fire are across the road and seem to keep busy with calls. The train rolls through town as well, so there are definitely some situations that can wake you up, but that is expected in a campground that is in town. The Sheep River is right on site which is great for floating and sitting on a hot day. The bike, walk, run paths are great and are a 5 min walk to downtown coffee shops, shopping, and pubs. Staff has always been great in my experience. I have witnessed them deal with ignorant customers at time of arrival and they have far greater patience than I ever would. If you can have a civil conversation, they are easy to work with. They were very accomodating for a booking miscommunication I had. The manager and staff ensured everyone involved in the situation was taken care of. I felt very much appreciated as a customer in a difficult predicament. Always happy to come stay here and will definitely be back.

The staff doesn't care what happens to their customers here. When you try to talk to them, they just dont care. They just shug their shoulders. Dont say sorry we will look into it. NOTHING . Example: had very hard rain here, and my stall got flooded, I mentioned to the staff that maybe you should fix it and make it more flat. The staff just said well theres other stalls do it too SO. Then we notice our coolers and a few other items went missing that I had under my motorhome, a table in front of it and 2 lawn chairs around it. Went to tell the staff and thay said well we have cameras. And just stared at mt husband. The staff didnt say we will look into it for you or nothing. .. Again they do not care about the people camping here. They just want you money!!!. Well looks like this will be the last time thay get our business. Very disappointed In this campground. We obey all there rules. But they cannot even try to make this place SAFER!!!

The park was easy to find. It is located along side of the Sheep River in the center of town . There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic with the exception of Marijuana and other drugs which are strictly prohibited. It was refreshing NOT to have odors drifting about. The interior roads are graveled and in good condition. Our site, 24, was a gravel based pull through that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left side. Distancing is fair for an urban park. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was nicely groomed. There is NO park included wifi or cable TV. We did not search for any OTA channels. Satellite might be difficult. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean and modern. There is a well equipped playground adjacent to the park as well as extensive walking/cycling trails. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be good base from which to explore the general area and Calgary. We paid .$42.00 per night and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.
