Not thrilled with our experience. First, it seems most of the sites are seasonal. Meaning, most sites have semi-permanent “homes” rather than travelers like ourselves. Not that it’s a bad thing - just NOT what we expected or were looking for. Second, staff were non-existent. Never talked to one since we arrived or left. Not that we didn’t try. We left a voicemail but never received a return call. Now listen, I know it’s off season but really? The “office“ is the size a small shed - rarely saw anybody there. Usually in by 11am and out by 2pm. Third, cable wasn’t included (they told us ahead of time of time). Internet was not included and we had no idea ahead of time. We were not willing to spend the extra amount, because it was not a bargain to stay there to begin with. Won’t be returning anytime soon. I gave it two stars instead of one because we did enjoy the proximity to some Local places we enjoy in Dennis.

This is a great little campground on Cape Cod. We just returned home from a 7 night stay and would definitely come back again. The staff here are wonderful. When we first arrived we went straight to our site. A staff member met us there and made sure everything was good. He even went to the office and delivered a bag of ice right to our site so we could get our camper set up without having to stop to get ice before the office closed in 15 minutes. The water had to be turned off for some repair work and the staff gave free gallons of water to everyone. The water was only turned off for about 1hr so honestly it wasn't and inconvenience but they wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of. While most of the campground is permanent trailers they are well maintained and the full time residents are friendly. I agree with other reviews and the sites are a bit smaller then we are used to in PA but our 28ft trailer fit fine. One thing I do recommend is to bring lots of leveling blocks because the sites are not level. This campground was convenient to everything we wanted to do. I can't really speak about the bathhouses because we use our camper showers and stuff. We didn't use the pool either but I did see a staff member cleaning it every morning and evening. On the weekend they had activities for families and kids including a outdoor movie night. We had a fantastic week!

We recently spent a weekend here while visiting family on the Cape. It was a perfect location for going out on day trips as there is a lot to do in the area. Easy access to route 6 while towing a trailer. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us when we had a problem checking out on time, for which we are so grateful! It was a very friendly and laid back atmosphere.

First and foremost I feel as though the incredible, hardworking park staff don't get the credit they deserve for helping to maintain the park's cleanliness and positive vibes! It truly starts from the bottom up, it's a shame for the lack of a great foundation in regards to management, as this park would be one, if not the best, I have stayed at thus far. I believe they do their best to accommodate, however i feel being overwhelmed has led to vacancy (management)....I appreciate the camp is authentic, rustic and the years of traditions/memories shared by residents make it even more of a comfortable, warm place to stay/visit. This place is what it is! Im not sure what other expect before arrival, but you can't put a Nickerson State Park in South Dennis, of course it is a small campground and most (if not the entire) Old Chatham Road itself has not changed in decades, so it will be outdated to many because of its surroundings! I live in this same area year around and if this park were to be any larger or any more glorified locals would not be happy, it is unique and i hope it stays that way, truly not much left of that on the Cape... Clean pool and spacious pool area, a kiddoe pool as well! Very kept grounds, and most importantly bathrooms! Very lively with kids, great playground and basketball court as well making it a perfect option for young families. Only real disappointment would be the rec hall and what it entails. No vending machines, no pool table or area to sit and all the gaming machines are out of order. It would be nice for it to be more functional, but I know there is an external company whom handles this? In all, as a local resident I would highly recommend this park to anyone visiting the mid-Cape area. Easy to find and less hustle and bustle, hidden gem by far!

It was open and had a spot. As a member of TT I realize we never know what we will get.

First impression is that you've arrived in an old mobile home park with multiple speed bumps. Most of the rigs are stationary year-round. Only a few RV sites are available for visitors. One way paved roads. Very quiet for Oct. Pool was closed but is centrally located along with children play area. Dog bags available near dumpster. Our back in site had a concrete patio and rock yard. Tall trees. Good stopping point in the Cape. Near Hyannis where we had to do our laundry for $4 per washer. No laundry on campground. We had to pick up packages in the local post office as campground does not accept them. We travel park to park through Thousand Trails.3 nights was good to drive the National Seashore and take the ferry to Martha's vineyard

Al could simply not have been more accommodating. We initially only planned to stay 1 night, but enjoyed our stay so much, we decided to spend two more nights. Location was perfect. Place was spotless and well cared for. Our dog Riley loved his stay too!

This is mostly a place for seasonal sites. If say 80% of the sites are occupied by permanent campers that haven't moved in years. The few transient sites are small. But it was convenient as a place to explore Cape Cod. I never used the pool or the other amenities. The neighbors were friendly. Everyone said good morning while dog walking and such. Ice is available, but no camp store.

Not good for tow behind RVs visiting. Lots of dead end roads, super tight spots. Your little picnic table is on top of your neighbors sewer hose. Outdated campground and very overcrowded. Full time trailer homes mixed in with rental spots creates weird vibe between the guests.
