Scammers! I had a booking a few months ago and I decided to cancel however they never sent me a confirmation email of the booking & they took money out of my bank account. I called within their cancellation window to cancel the booking as a change of mind. The degenerate lady told me since you never received the cofiemarion email there’s no need to cancel, I said whatever and let it be now their charging me for the booking & I didn’t even make it. I disgusted with the bank and they rejected it. I’m not done! I’m going straight to small claims court and sueing for even more. All the proof is there! The call records on your system on the day I called & asked to cancel. I’ll see you in court you bunch of filthy scammers. Will be sending an intent to sue letter.

We were there on what turned out to be a major Halloween weekend event in September. We had no idea that it was going to be occurring. Lots of loud music from the pavilion until about 10 o’clock at night. Extremely crowded. I think every site was full. By Sunday morning, the Campground had cleared out quite a bit, and the restrooms were locked due to plumbing issues. There were other restrooms available, but further away. I prefer a more quiet and nature based camping experience, and if going in the fall again, would shoot for a weekday instead of the weekend, because there’s like five or six weeks of Halloween themed weekends. We loved the time there after the weekend! We had 30 amp service for our camper, but were told that we shouldn’t use our AC or electric heaters because they couldn’t support all the electric usage throughout the campground. That is crazy. Why do we have 30 amp then? We think after the weekend and most of the Campground cleared out it probably wouldn’t be a problem.

I've stayed several years here with not many issues, but since it sold last year I feel the cleanliness has been much less important to them. Our stay was for 5 nights in a cottage. Our group rents 4 cottages Not exactly cheap so with that you'd expect a clean quarters. The refrigerator, toilet, shower, and under beds (floor) visibly dirty. When I grabbed the toilet brush to clean the toilet myself there was feces in the brush holder. There was a paper bowl of captain crunch in the cabinet. Absolutely disgusting. Never had an issue like this in the past. We've decided to find other arrangements for our future trips. Unfortunately I did not take pics of everything.

Very basic amenities, and crowded in the summer season. Golf cart traffic was annoying and prevalent. Only two showers and toilets (co-ed) for our section of the park made for some uncomfortable waits. Our basic cabin had a torn screen which we repaired ourselves. The directional signs are reflective, but in anything but a pickup truck, you won't be able to read them. Frustrating if getting in after dark. Expensive for what we got. Had to pay a deposit for a second key. Nice little lake, and well equipped camp store.

Ended up booking a camper site here with full hookups. Loved every minute of it. Campground is full of activity and campers were all friendly. The walk to water safari is about 15 min and not bad at all. Checking in was super quick, you cannot check in even 1 min early. It's not the employees it's the computer system. It's set on a clock so don't arrive early. Place is super clean and the wildlife is abundant.
