This place was so cool. Cannot wait to go back when the bridge is done. The campground was so nice. The sites were huge and plenty of space. We will most definitely be going back.

It's got the perfect balance of challenge and ease, and the trails are super well-maintained. The scenery is just stunning, and I love how you can mix and match routes - it's like exploring a whole new area each time! This park is a hidden gem, and the historical museum is a cool bonus. The waterfalls are breathtaking, and the water's refreshing!Weekdays are probably best, as it can get a bit crowded on weekends. Trust me, this place is a must-visit - it's like stepping into a fairy tale! 🧚‍♀️The trails are epic, with tons of options to explore, and the views are simply incredible. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even climb to new heights!

I absolutely love this trail. It’s not too hard but it’s a good workout. The trails are well kept. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. I especially love the way you can go so many different routes and everything kind of loops back together. I love it.

Ancient indigenous people lived here between the rivers. There are many beautiful waterfalls and natural features. A museum and signage tells the history. Be careful on trails. They are rough.

This park is absolutely stunning. Especially in the fall with the colorful leaves. There are nice restrooms before you start the trails. Trails are easy, scenery is beautiful and the waterfalls are captivating. Definitely a must see.

I always enjoy hiking or walking here. Like most of Tennessee State Parks it is well staffed and well maintained. The parking lot can look crowded yet seem like there are only a few people here. Interesting historical information posted in key locations if you have a desire to know. Remnants of walls can be seen along the river. A diversity of trails some easy others are moderate, in any event you may not be able to get to them all but without a lot of effort waterfalls are visible within about a half mile from where you park. It is about a half hour from Murfreesboro right off of I24. Have fun.

Beautiful area with lots of trails! We visited both Big Falls and Little Falls — each had pretty easy access down to the river. There were only a few short sections where I needed to be extra careful with my steps. What’s great is that there’s more than one trail to each falls, so you can make the hike as easy or as challenging as you like. I chose the paths that seemed easiest to me. The first falls is accessible right after the parking lot. We didn’t go all the way down to the water, though — it looked a bit too steep for my comfort to climb back up. Maybe there's an easier path I didn’t see. Absolutely stunning area overall!

Beautiful setting and scenes! Great walk/hike on variety of difficulty levels. Know before you go: Use the restroom by the playground if you have a dog which is not a SERVICE dog. Museum restroom is indoors and only allows service dogs. Water fountain at the overlook by the museum office and small store. Nicely marked trails, be prepared to carry out what you bring in (and bring own dog waste bags if bringing your dog on a leash). Parking fills up fast. Enjoy yourself, it’s beautiful. Walking stick may be needed on some trails.

Very nice park, good trails with plenty of markers telling you about the history of the place. If you take the trails between the enclosure and river there are much better views but the trails get a little sketchy in places, as in... narrow and a little bit tougher for those with mobility issues. I hope to return in the fall/winter when the leaves are down. The bluffs are beautiful and a little scary in places. Hiking/walking stick recommended.
