We've been to Ole Bull for a number of years and it has yet to get boring. The facilities are always well kept (especially the bathrooms/shower house!). The true shining stars are the staff. The educational programs & the dedicated staff that deliver them. One shining star is Ranger Brian, who this year we saw a couple different times at a couple different parks. His delivery of wild edible plants and his night sky demo are top notch! He is knowledgeable and loves to chat with both the kids & adult campers.

Stayed at the group site. There view of the sky wasn't as good as at Cherry Springs but wasn't crowded, didn't have to worry about having a red filter on all your lights etc. We still had a great view of they sky and saw a lot until the moon cone up and washed out all but the brightest stars.

We had a great July 4th weekend camping at Ole Bull State Park, even though it was the first time camping for most of us. The park had plenty of nature trails around and had good amenities and todos like electricity, public bathroom with shower, a small beach for kids, swimming area, and creeks for fishing.

Had a great trip. The surroundings were beautiful, the staff were super kind and helpful. The hot showers in the bathhouse were a great way to end a 3 mile hike as well! Site is serene and very quiet at night; able to have a sense of privacy while still being in a community setting. Will 100% be coming back!

We stayed at the Lodge in September. The leaves were just starting to turn colors. It's a beautiful cabin/log house, very clean. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need as far as utensils, cookware, and dishes. The rest of the lodge is comfortable. The area around the lodge is fenced off and has its own swings set and horseshoe pits. Lots of room for other outdoor games. The area itself is quiet and fairly remote. It is a great place to get away.

Nice campground. When I went the damn was open so I didn't have the opportunity to go swimming but it looked wonderful. Stopped and had lunch in a CCC pavilion

The park is beautiful and would rate it 5 stars but there is an electrical problem in camping loop #1. (Possibly in loop #2 also, but I was only in loop#1.) Voltage is low on one of the 120v feeds. Starts around 106v and drops from there. My power protection drops out at 104v and just kept dropping out. Will cause someone a ruined A/C unit.

I love this place 1000%. I have no negative things to say besides I wish I lived closer because it is a three-hour drive for me but I still go. I go to this place when I want to go see Cherry Springs Star Park. It is only 20 minutes away. The park is very clean. This place is RV friendly and also tent friendly. The bathrooms are so clean and very updated. The staff is amazing. I have gone there two years in a row and anytime I had a question or issues with booking, the lady there was so helpful. The lots are grassy and not stone and I love that. They have a mini beach and they have a playground(it's older but cool) for kids. There is a golf course about 35 mins away but worth the drive 100%...will not disappoint you. The other thing that won't disappoint you is this park. Can't wait till the next time we go.

I have been coming here all my life and it never disappoints! There is always something to do! The fishing on Kettle Creek is unbeatable, and the park staff always find a way to entertain the guests with their programs. I have a ton of fond memories from here growing up, and will be bringing my kids here to stay some day for sure! Love it!
