Great little campground nestled away from the city while also being just a few short minutes from civilization. I'm a Registered Nurse and this is one of the safer places I've found. They have 24 hr security and are gated. A woman traveling alone with her dog is very safe here. Very animal friendly (just make sure you pick up your animal waste). The people who stay here seem to be mostly traveling nurses and contractors. I've made several nursing friends from all over. Some tell me they've been here months and even years on their assignments. There are also many weekend warrior campers and other folks too. All very friendly with the campground hosting occasional barbecues and potlucks for anyone who would like to attend. Note: the trees, Japanese Maples, are incredible. The owner grows them all over the campground and they are just stunning, especially in the fall. I look forward to anytime I get to stay here.

This campground is definitely a long-term living situation that appears to augment income by providing overnight or short-term parking. One resident reported living here 10 years. We were charged $49 for a spot that allegedly had water and power. My electric power plug, both diagnostic and a surgeprotector, indicated an open neutral. This was confirmed by a long-time resident and was explained that the entire RV loop, of which there were approximately 20 sites, were on a 15 amp breaker to prevent the breakers from tripping. We chose not to use power or water and was told that it was our decision, but they were fairly certain that my RV electric system wouldn't be harmed AND if there was a problem I still had my surge protector and that's what I bought it for. What? Anyway, the sites are kind of sketchy for overnight or short stays, and the majority of the good spots in the park are dedicated to long-term.

I believe I was the only short term guest? I think all the other sites were filled with living tenants. Sites are too small, crammed together. I had no space on either side of my RV. My neighbor couldn’t put her awning out when mine was out. Her plants and belongings took up my tiny grass space in front of my door. She was not happy with me talking at midday, and let me know. Sketchy. I requested specific accommodations when I made the reservation, and at check-in, these were not met. I was approached by a man in early hours asking for bathroom code. Do not recommend for short stay travelers.

I’ve been camped here in the tent section for a few days & still have a few days left (maybe more) However the staff here have been very social, nice, & extremely helpful. Everyone I’ve meet, passed by or talked to have all been respectful. I Like to read reviews before I go somewhere. And in all honesty in my time here I haven’t seen any of the negative things that a few people claimed. The little store is convenient, bathrooms/showers are clean, waters hot & the people are welcoming.

Stayed here for a few months while my husband was in the area for work. We showed up as strangers…totally lost with no idea where to go. When we left we left with a new family. Everyone was so helpful. They have AWESOME ladies working the store. Campground security is FANTASTIC. Never once did I worry about anything. Loved our full hookup spot and there’s also partial hookups. A tent section for summer camping. And the pool when weather allowed! The bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily and the hot water was to die for. Our daughter made so many friends, with the kids and the adults. Laundry room was open during the day and great prices. I could go on for days about everything I loved here. Gas up front. Propane service. Game room. They even included us in their barbecues. Hands down the BEST location we’ve ever stayed at. We will definitely be back. I can’t say enough good things about everyone there. We have been gone almost two months now and I am homesick to go back and visit. Definitely stop in and stay here if you’re in the area!

Stayed at park for about a year. Overall park is cool except that most of park filled with permanent residents the place full of drama if you get in with the in crowd all good. Park has CPS constantly their or residents threading to call CPS. Most people their drunk or high kids run around with no supervision. Place full of free loaders off the system kids can pay with their EBT card and you can get a tab going for beer and smokes. People all up in ur business The owners and staff are great But the people bunch of freeloaders with no ambition

We stayed at this park for a week. Facility was clean, employees were very friendly. Seemed to be an older RV site but the amenities were there. We were there during the fall so it rained the entire time so it was a bit muddy. Price was good.

Wife and I stayed a few nights in our brand new RV here. The staff was helpful but on the last day noticed our locking gas door pryed open, gas cap missing, and our full 100 gallons stolen. The staff said they have security at night but the thief or thieves still stole nearly $400 in gas!!! I am now designing device that will flat out knock whomever messes with my gas lid on their butt with a few lithium batteries and a high output transformer...

Liked this place. Camp sites are first come first served. There are several obvious full time residents, but everyone there was cool, including the staff. It was quiet and peaceful, will definitely camp there again.
