This place doesn't deserve any stars, we have traveled through US and Canada for the last 5 summers, and were never treated like that before. We usually book a campground for a few weeks at a time never had a problem even if we would need to adjust our time in a campground. Here on the other hand they were very quick to charge deposit when I called them before we arrived (huge mistake on my side) and ask if we can book a campground site for one additional week as we thought to spend more time discovering surroundings. On the arrival my wife went to the office and registered no one told her anything about any issues on the campground. As we figured out later there was a boil water advisory for the whole campground and you are not suppose even brush your teeth with that water. That water itself had a distinct sewer smell. When we said that to the manager started to gas light us saying that it was chlorin in the water. Everyone knows the smell of swimming pool that wasn't like that but smell definitely had sewer smell, it smelled even from your hands after you wash them in that water. The manager argued that we should have read the notices all over the campground. She showed one that you can see on attached photo. There at the office when you come in and open the door, the notice was there, but very hard to spot. When I took that photo she was not happy, and in a few minutes she put that message a front door (see other photo). As we came to the campground very late and unfortunately we didn't have any idea about water advisory. My wife coocked my a dinner wasing dishes in that water. Lackily kids didn't want to eat anything. Later in the evening we found out all about that water restriction. In the morning we left that campground and management refused to return any deposits for the 3 weeks that we booked. We are starting a complaint with Consumer protection Ontario, if you had similar experience with this campground please reach out to us as we might be able to file a collective claim against that campground. UPD: We just had a call with public health inspector, he told us that the campground should have clearly notified every visitor about their water advisory, and that water can not be used for drinking water making tea, washing fruits and vegetables or washing dishes.

This is a SCAM business! Stay away from this campground and save your health and well being. This campground has an active BOIL WATER ADVISORY and we were not informed about it during the registration online, during the phone call with the office and even when checking in!!! I found out about it by myself later in the evening when I was looking for a laundry. There was a note on a laundry door. NO MENTION about boil water advisory in any sort of communication from the campground before. When we wanted to talk to the manager about this we were gaslit by a very well prepared speech that we were informed which we were not! The tone changed from friendly to official in a blink of an eye. Campground owners deliberately conceal this information from you before registration and then gaslit you that you sighed a contract. Shame on you! We are family of 4 with two kids who were scammed by this business with no refund for 3 weeks having stayed in the campground for 1 night. We wouldn't have stayed even one night if we knew about the boil water before. This is not what we expect from the Canadian Business. Don't scam people. Be better. We are all people at the end of the day. You are doing this in purpose and know it very well. I hope people will find this review and nobody will have to go though all the stress that we had to go through.

I do not enjoy writing bad reviews but Olympia Village deserves nothing less than a 1 star review. When we arrived we were told the water was undrinkable but we could shower and boil the water for cooking. I smelled so bad after taking a shower that my Wife and kids refused to bathe for 3 days. We would have left sooner if it weren't for promising to take my kids to Canada's Wonderland. As I was packing up I started talking to a Russian born man by the name of Anton who just got there and was wanting a refund from the owner I know this because the "owner's" was next door to me protesting the mans request. She claimed because she notified him about the water issue upon arrival that she would not refund Anton's money. Then after Anton walked away she came up to me and asked me if I spoke to Anton and then started accusing my Son of being in some area the day before that was off limits. Narcissists tend to Gas Light so I stopped her and said Madam we are leaving within the hour because your water is disgusting and we weren't forewarned before arriving, she started talking in circles and then I politely asked her and her husband to leave. I feel Bad for Anton and his Wife they are stuck there with no refund for 3 weeks. We weren't refunded anything either these people are dishonest. The play ground was littered with trash and our site had very tall grass. She also accused me of driving too fast and of course I wasn't. The owners are crude people simple as that!

The "free Wi-Fi" is a hotspot that you have to pay for! The "Boil Water Advisory" has been around for over a year! No mention of it when you try to book.
