Just passing thru one night. Walked the dog around the campground and it was lit up and people were having a lot of fun. Looks like the place can be a blast for adulta and kids

Arrived here the last week they were open, was greeted in a friendly manor and sited in a nice area. Even though it was the last week, bathroom was still maintained well. The only small complaint i have is that the location on google maps is on the opposite side of the bridge. Overall, had a great night stay here and would go back!

The owners are super friendly and laid back. We stayed here in a motorhome so we didn’t use or see the bathrooms. This camp is right on the river with a huge beach. Our dogs had a great time frolicking in the water.

Happy to be a new seasonal camper at on the river campground. Beautiful place to enjoy the Schroon lake area. Nice, clean campground and Phil the owner is a nice guy and easy to deal with

Perfect day trip for a little paddling. Calm water & great sightseeing. When we've gone there have always been watershed steward's at the pull out nearby to decontaminate your boats and keep invasive species out of the park waters. A lot of the land on the side of the river is private, but there are plenty of sand banks and fallen trees to pull off for a water picnic. You can paddle from here down to the beach on Schroon lake, which is great if you want to get a little exercise at the tail end of your journey.

Good for small family get aways to enjoy some of nature but to also having a nice bed to sleep on.
