Had a blast here with the family! Great tour guide, very friendly. Beautiful cave!!! Most of the tour route has rails, but it is steep in places so mind your step. Definitely give it a go if you can.

We enjoyed camping by the river. We did the basic site. I will say we stayed in 9 and if you go off the map it's semi secluded from the others, except for 8 which also has two different campers there over our three day stay, plus 7 almost 10. So I'm saying it might be better to pick some of the other ones because nobody was at any of them the whole time. Cell service was slow. Good on the hill if you went for a hike. Staff was very friendly and the bathrooms were well maintained with plenty of hot water.

My first cave experience, and I have become a big fun of caves. I felt I was in the space or some place not like earth. This is the earth and I still don’t know so many things about the earth. We must protect this beautiful place! You have to go and see it in person. Everything there was mind blowing. I was so happy that I saw it. Just go and experience cave!!

Great little campground and amazing cave. Camp sites are huge, paved and flat. Be aware there is no cell service in this area. Park host was very helpful. Our kids loved the cave and the tour guide was amazing. We really enjoy this stop.

The cave was absolutely gorgeous. Some of the ramps inside are definitely steep, so be ready to get winded! Our tour guide (I think her name was Tasha? Definitely started with a T) was incredible. She was funny and sweet and knew the answers to all of our questions. It was a fantastic experience. We will definitely come back again if we are in the area

I really enjoyed this cave! It was easy to get through and well maintained. There were so many neat things to see inside the cave. I went on a school field trip with my daughter, and our tour guide was super fun. She made a song to help learn about the different things in the cave. Her name, I believe, was Julie. We did not have time to walk the trail or see the second cave but I highly recommend seeing the main cave. My only issue is the cost of admissions. I suggest if you are planning to go plan for the whole day to get your money's worth and see both caves and walk the trail and maybe have a picnic.

My first Cave tour but not bad. They take cash or credit was $25 per person and the walking tours were in 1 hour intervals. This was very educational.

This was the most fascinating cave I’ve been in. Well worth the price! I brought my dad who is a healthy 70 years old, he was able to do all the ramps. Our tour guide Stephanie did a great job answering questions and being excited about the formations.

Made the trip to the Park to take three of the trails - Blue Heron, Deer Run, and Oak Ridge. Blue Heron is a 1-mile round-trip paved trail that's pretty but could be prettier if the brush overgrowing the path/railing on the side with the pond was kept cut back. Still, it's a nice warm-up trail before tackling Deer Run or Oak Ridge. Deer Run is a particularly nice trail with good elevations and a nice natural track that doesn't have so many rocks and roots that it takes away from the experience, plus there are some nice views of the Meramec River. Oak Ridge trail is not as nice as Deer Run, but that could be just me - I prefer more "woodland" over "brushy" - and Oak Ridge trail - unlike the Deer Run trail - was very buggy still on 7 October 2024. Oak Ridge also had no views to speak of - pretty much a walk through the woods. Still, I would visit this park for hiking on a regular basis if I didn't live more than an hour away. P.S. I took the cave tour a couple of years ago and recall it was a good tour.

Makayla was an amazing guide on the cave tour. The tour was well worth the drive from NW Ark. the staff were very helpful and gave us great directions and ideas about which trip would be best for what we were doing, which included carrying a cello with us on the trail. Would definitely recommend for an active family adventure. The cave is amazing. The walkways are sometimes steep, but our guide was great and pointing out potential problem areas for more limited mobility and providing alternatives. Very patient and kind. We had a great time and cannot wait to go back
