Our site did not have working power, we were told to run an Extention cord. We cannot run air conditioning on an extension cord. Plus the next site didn’t have power either. No offer to move us or refund our money. The bathrooms literally ran out of toilet paper and were not cleaned. 2 sites down they had a registered electric car that can be driven on public’s roads and they told them they can’t drive it. But we observed other people driving golf carts on premises. The site next to us had no picnic table or fire pit. I dont think they were prepared for us.

This is a very nicely kept campground. The sites are large, mostly with trees that provide shade, and full hook ups. Just a stones throw from Lake Ontario, and close to several State Parks. The pool area is so clean, many tables for guests, outdoor firepit and comfy chairs at the community room by the pool. The main building/office/store is under construction so no supplies, but doesn't interupt the guests or activities. We had our 2 grandchildren with us, ages 16 & 10. There were other kids here over the holiday weekend, but this never filled up with campers. A great band played and there were activities for the holiday, like a pool party with potluck lunch (they supplied hots, beverages), 4th of July t-shirt decorating, ice cream social - very nicely organized. There's primarily seasonal guests that are very low key, so if you're looking for quiet, this is the place. The only issue is that the rest rooms, only one building for the entire campground, that is located near the pool. There were few times the restroom was closed due to a plumbing issue. This created a bit of an inconvenience if you spent any extended time at the pool because we had to walk all the way back to our site/RV to use the RV toilet. But - it was addressed many times. These owners are attentive to their campground! There's a laundry room with washers/dryers - again super clean. There are ponds on the property where seasonal campers can reserve sites , but no swimming there. The nearby beach is all big rocks, but has a beautiful view of the lake, the sunset, and again - very quiet neighborhood. Kayla and her family have created a wonderful, very relaxing campground. But again, mostly seasonal, not a full campground that we've seen (we're here for 4 weeks), not hardly any kids, and quiet. Check out the area when reserving - close to so many parks and we recommend Selkirk Shores State Park for lake swimming in addition to camp pool.

Second time back here it was very quiet Mother's Day weekend and I thought all it was early in the season. I am staying now on a holiday weekend Fourth of July I came in on Thursday and I'm leaving on Monday. A few more campers but not as many a lot of empty sites if you see my videos on Facebook to start out the sign outfront says ice and wood sold here there's no ice because of remodeling and no sign to tell you that plus some of the activities were in the pavilion and they did not put that on there either. I heard this place was bought by a big corporation so there's a lot of rules positive things are. I got to check in at 12:30 on Thursday and no early check fee. I did get the same site I That I love very much, which is close to the pool and the community room talk about the community room don't go there in the summer because they have no air conditioning and it's hotter than hell in there. Not a lot of people show up to their activities, even though their seasonal campers don't know why I spoke to a few people they weren't happy because of raising the prices I guess when the new owners took over her and really hyped up the price half the people left, which is really too bad. This part just needs a TLC and someone who knows what they're doing to run the place not a big corporation that knows nothing about Camping

Its an RV park with some " cabins" to rent but. haven't seen the insides. Pool and community room very nice, grounds well kept. Visited family. Beach is all rocks but with watershoes you can wade and swim.

I think this campground was once a nice place to go. Unfortunately it has been under managed for too long. No water in the pool, old playground, beautiful rec hall that is locked and used for storage and NO activities and no good view of the water. Even the seasonals have pulled out. Certainly not worth it in money or fun!
