Longtime RVer. I’ve let my KOA rewards lapse for the past few years, and have largely avoided them. Long story short, my truck broke down on the way out of Fort Wilderness, so I limped it here and stayed a few days. KOA corporate needs to take note of this one. Unbelievably friendly staff. Reasonably priced for the location. Nice solidly sized spaces, level spaces. Clean. Everything KOA used to consistently be.

Office and maintenance staff were great. I was shown to a really nice and roomy site with concrete pad, table with chairs, and fire pit. They have a trash pickup at your site, and the facilities were clean and the park very well kept. I had a neighbor that allowed their dog to continually bark until I asked them to keep it quiet, but cannot blame the park for inconsiderate neighbors. Overall, excellent KOA.

Zero security Close to everything you need. Neat and clean but zero security. We had the sheriff all evening here filling out reports for stolen items from at least 3 campsites. Mostly bikes that were chained up outside even an electric bike. Sheriff said it's a real problem here and nothing is being done to detour thieves. Adding a simple entrance gate at both entrances would detour said thieves. This is a known targeted area I wish koa was more forthcoming about the known issue. But we found that out from sheriff dept. Koa said it's not their problem because they posted signs stating they are not responsible. It's sad because this is a cute little camp area. Lots of homeless and transient living nearby in the woods. (Not blaming) but whoever came knew when to do it and came with proper tools for cutting bolts. Sheriff is here often. I would opt for a safer location or return when cameras and gates are installed. Right now it’s all open all hours for anyone to drive or walk thru.

Terrific campground, without a doubt the best KOA I’ve stayed at. Great amenities, my daughter loved the playground and bounce pad. Sites are clean and the Adirondack chairs/table are a great touch. Will definitely be back.

Out of all the KOA, this is one our family loves the most. We've visited four times over the past six years, staying in tents, cabins, and luxury cabins. This time, we stayed for a week. First of all, the location is fantastic, and the staffs are friendly. They also patrol regularly to ensure no unauthorized visitors enter the campground. However, this time we had a disappointing experience. On the first day, we encountered many bugs inside the cabin. We complained to the staff the next day, and they worked to resolve the issue. Despite this, we will definitely visit again.
