My son and I were going to go fishing around Olustee Beach area. Going down the road to the $5 pay area, a short little Park Ranger pulled into an area so she can catch someone speeding or something else. I was going between 33-38 miles an hour. Slow enough for me to see her truck perfectly when she decided to roll up on me. There is no one at the circle to pay, so you have to be on the honor system. She said I was flying past her ( at 33-38 miles an hour) and didn't stop to pay. She ran my license like a good little tyrant, so beware of Miss Priss. She seems a bit controlling with her badge.

A beautiful place where I felt completely in touch with nature. There were very few people and I asked if I could go to the table area. A man told me that it was closed for the moment, so I just went to a small dock and enjoyed the silence and peace of the moment. I hope they open it soon so I can visit it and do more activities in this beautiful place full of good energy.

We came and brought the dog to walk around not swim and I really enjoyed the park. It was such a nice day and it is a beautiful place to have a picnic or hang out with the family. Could have been a little better maintained, the grass was a little taller on the swing set so I was unable to use it (I walk with a cane and I'm a little too wobbly to be walking through tall grass). But it had just rained recently obviously based on how wet everything was and this is Florida things grow quickly.

This is a nice place. Fishing on pier. walking the trail was short but great. Good walk for children.

A very interesting hideaway. If you're not familiar with this small beach/lake you might want to become familiar with it.. although it's small and unusual for it to be called a beach, it's large enough to boat on. Quiet, clean, and comfortable for self or family. By the way, it has a trail!
