A nice campground. We're full time rv travelers. Up here in September. Park wasn't that busy. Park was actually really quiet. The owners and host were really nice. We would for sure come back to this park if in the area. We didn't even mind the train that would pass by. We had full hookup. So we didn't check out the bath house. We had a firepit and picnic table. Was so much to do in the area.

We had a great stay this past week. Staff very friendly and attentive to any needs. Super accommodating for payment as we were not able to get there until late. Very quiet (there is a train but it’s quick). Lots to do in the surrounding area. We had a great site and hosted the nighttime campfires with lots of room! Will definitely come back here!

Great family campground & very close to great Lake Huron beaches in Oscoda and Tawas. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Sites were a good size for our 35 foot Rav and very clean. My son caught a 9 lb catfish off the Au Sable Pier - good fishing in the early morning and evenings. Only drawbacks are the train that goes by the campground is so dang loud - especially in the middle of the night! Pool is kinda small too but didn't matter to the kids especially with the big lake close by.

Great service with employees that really are genuine and care. The location is less desirable as it is located next to the train tracks that has a 930-1130PM schedule with 2 train whistles. Mosquitoes were pretty bad but I sprayed and it was better. Grounds could use some love and sites were pretty tight up front. The back sites were spacious but more bugs. Not an ADA friendly campground.

This camp ground owner was very rude to us. We showed up on time. First made a reservation and called to increase it by a day. When I called I asked if we could have rustic. The person stated we could but no refund would be given for the difference. I stated that’s fine I had asked for that originally so we could be secluded but was told none were available. I agreed to pay for other more expensive site but get the rustic so I could be more private. When I got there I found the electric and the water site was 100 feet apart from one another. We were placed between a large family that had tent and rv camping and our little site was in the middle of it all as rustic. They had many kids and they walked through our site a lot. We asked for a refund, since we had asked for rustic private and no one explained that this is not the campsite for that. They could have been honest with us. They refused our refund with no regard. We left and went to a state park. Now, if you have children perfect campground. But if you do not have children then this is not the campsite for you!
