Great park. Beautiful lake. Campground has 2 beaches, nice boat ramps, along with a fishing dock. Swimming area was well maintained. Showers need a little maintenance.

Beautiful water and beautiful sights. The beach was clean and so were the bathrooms and there was plenty of shade as well as a picnic area, a fishing area, and walking trails. My family and I will be coming back.

We called at 12:05 , while playing at the county park, to ask when the ice cream serving opened up and we were told Noon. We rode over on the lake to see a sign on the window at approx. 12:30 they closed early due to weather. There was a light sprinkle of rain on our way over but nothing more. Seems silly to close due to a sprinkle of rain. Turned down 26 people for business, always a family tradition to come at least once on our trip here. But, especially because we had just called.

4.5 stars. RV camped at site 23-fairly level, shaded, close to bathrooms & dog beach. No trails- went to Aspen Park in Gaylord & Elk Park. Awesome beach on Ostego Lake easily walkable from campsite.

We had a great stay at this campsite! The site is very wide, offering plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the outdoors. It has a beautiful view of the lake and there's a nice trail just a short walk away—perfect for a peaceful stroll or exploring nature. Site 102 we weren’t told ahead of time that the power hookup would be shared, so make sure to bring at least a 25-foot extension cord. Also, the ground is a bit soft and the site sits about 6 inches off level, so come prepared with leveling blocks or pads. Overall, a great spot with scenic surroundings—would definitely stay here again with just a little extra prep.
