Peaceful and quiet walk on the beach and a short trail through suspension bridge. Beautiful view.

Great place! Nice long open beach with cool rocks. Big rock piers you can walk out on. Slightly scary if you’re afraid of heights but safe feeling suspension bridge. Nice trail to rainbow falls with access to walk along the rocks RIGHT next to the crazy river.

Very nice Fall afternoon spent there. There were still people swimming! My wife and I looked for some cool rocks, and found an eye agate. Definitely worth a stop to check it out!

Nice park and walking paths to Lake Superior. Cool suspension bridge as well. It does require a National Park pass for parking.

Lake Superior the greatest of the great lakes. Hard to believe it's a lake really. The beach is nothing like anything I have seen before. Best rock hounding beach. The area was clean well kept and over all beautiful. Parking was about 5 minutes of a walk from the beach. It wasn't even hard to get the wagon full of beach toys chairs and goodies down the path. Can't wait to be able to bring my family here again.

It begins by starting a beautiful drive towards lake Superior from Ironwood. The park itself has nice picnic grounds. It usually has a $5 fee but on Thursdays it's free. The suspension bridge funnels you down to a nice long beach full of large trees that have drifted up onto the beach. The walk up to rainbow falls is also quite worth it, the hike is 3/4 of a mile Surrounded by beautiful trees along the way. You can either pay by check or cash only
