I find this campground very pleasant. It is well kept. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. This is a lovely campground. The bathroom is very clean. There is a pool, it is a community pool and open year round. There are laundry facilities available all the time, 3 washers, 3 dryers. It is very clean; $3 to wash and $3 to dry. There's a miniture golf course, as well as, tennis courts. There's even a playground area that seems quite large plus two large open areas. There is WiFi available for $5/day. The only issue I had is that I cannot get level. I'm close enough to level to stay, but it is noticable that I'm off. I'm high on one side causing me to need an extra step to get in & out. I'm sure if I had jacks or if my wheel base were shorter I would be level in this space. I've looked at other spaces and it doesn't look like others had too much issue with this. This is a lovely campground and I really like it. I would definitely come back and recommend it. This campground closes for the season on October 31st. I've been told it is the only RV Park in Ottawa open after October 15th.

This is a great location. The owners are amazing people. The heated pool is my favourite amenity. A short drive to all the attractions in Ottawa. Don't hesitate, book your stay at this wonderful campground! I'm very lucky to have found such a great place to park my RV.

Don’t quite know why this campground gets such a bad rap. Stayed there for 4 nights over the Labour Day weekend on our way across Canada so have stayed at our fair share of campgrounds. Checked in by Kelsey who was very pleasant and helpful. My interaction with Diane was also pleasant and humorous. I like there is a key card with a $20 refundable deposit to get through the gate. Good for security reasons. Didn’t mind paying for Wifi ($5/night or $20 for the week) but think this could be included in the cost. Our pads was gravel with well groomed grass around, full hook up with 30amp a fire pits and picnic table. Some shade. Did not use the pool so can’t comment on that but did use the laundry. It had a slight odour but got the job done. There is recycling and a large garbage container which was not overly full after the long weekend. Yes the flight path is right over the campground. This is no fault of the campground. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. Location is close to a grocery store and a free park and ride about 20 min drive with a very frequent train service about every 10 min into downtown Ottawa. We stayed in a KOA the next night and noted one of their policies was to charge for visitors so this is not the only campground to do this. I would stay there again.

We’ve camped here a few times because it’s close to home, so we have made it our first trip of the season a few times just to make sure everything is working as it should and we have our trailer stocked with everything we need. We also rent our trailer out to through RVezy so it’s very important that we ensure everything works and it loaded up properly. We have also used their dump station services a few times, which has always been a flawless experience. Some of our rentals don’t have dump stations on site, so for a $30 fee we use the dump station at Poplar Grove before making our next rental delivery. Great park! Great service!

Stayed there June 17 paid $68 for site 276 and was told I’d be able to leave my camper hooked up to my truck. When I got back in I could get truck and trailer in but ground wasn’t very level and my water hookup was too far away. Pulled trailer up to edge of road had to unhook and move my truck over even then I need a 35 foot hose to hook up water I’m pretty sure not to many people carry that long of a hose I called the office and was told I’d have to make it work all we we able to get hooked up to was the power. Sewer and water was too far to reach. Not a good experience for $68 and we’ll probably never stop there again

I really enjoy this campground. It is really well treed and serene, and the sites are all nature and calming. The staff are very friendly too. You do get some noise pollution with planes starting to descend for the Ottawa Airport, but its actually kind of cool seeing the different planes at night when you're hanging out around the campfire. I will definitely come here again.

We stayed here at the Poplar Grove Campground while visiting family in the Ottawa area. The location was great as it was pretty central to everything we needed. The campground is a little dated, but I can't complain at all about the services and the staff. I like the fact that it is somewhat security controlled, however there was a theft on our first night because someone left their car unlocked. The water pressure was a little low due to the fact that it hasn't rained in the Ottawa much this past summer. Guest need to pay $5 to visit. I get it, covers the maintenance somewhat. Overall, a solid 4 out 5.

If you are looking for a campground to relax this is it. Stayed there for 9 nights and got some of the best sleep I have ever had while camping. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The indoor pool was awesome to cool down on hot days in the pool without being in the hot sun. You can tell this campground has been there for a while but what you need works and is kept clean. If you are looking for a place to party this place may not be for you, but if you are looking for a place to relax in the evening after spending the day in Ottawa (only minutes away) then this is it.
