This place is awesome great swimming great fishing , a lot folks will be there , there is a lot of trails around and great little towns around as well ,really enjoyed this place I will be back , side note there are only two shower places there . Other than that the kids played and we vacationed

Beautiful campground. Woodsy, plenty of more private sites. Nice facilities.

Great place to camper. Derby is further out but, it does not take long to get in the campground and start having fun! The campsites are large enough for a tent and a camper or two small campers. Derby is one of the better camping areas because, you aren't stacked right on top of one another and the sites are in good shape. Also, in my opinion in the fall, this is one of the prettier campsites on Lake Ouachita.

Lake Ouachita is awesome, but this is not one of the best campgrounds. The facilities are run down and dated. They were not well cleaned. Most of the sites don't have good water access. The camp host was not on site for the entire 5 day trip.
