Ouachita Lake - COE/Little Fir
Ouachita Lake is a reservoir located in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas. It is located near the towns of Little Fir and Mount Ida. The lake was created in the 1950s by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to provide flood control and recreational opportunities. The lake is a popular destination for fishing, boating, camping, and other outdoor activities. The lake is home to a variety of fish species, including largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, and bream. The lake is also a popular spot for bird watching, with a variety of waterfowl and other birds making their home in the area.
