I found out real fast that this place website is made of lies. I rented the "Riverside Cabin" and got stuck in the cabins that are roadside. No where near the river. The website and photos make it look like you have bathrooms in your rooms as well, but it's all a shared a bathroom and shower. The website says there are hot tubs, which is true. They are also shared hot tubs. My issue was that there are also photos of hot springs pools on the website. Those photos are for the Hot Springs Park up the road- payment separate. When I went to the front desk to ask to switch to a different cabin for the dinner he stayed that all the other Cabins were booked. But we were the first to check in and could easily have switched to a different one before the other patrons arrived. It was first come first serve, but this guy was just rude and miserable. He then tried to upgrade us to a deluxe cabin for an extra $200 when I just wanted what was originally promised to us. They also kept pushing their Smokehouse restaurant. We went there for brunch and got drinks spilled all over us by the waitress. My $14 Bloody Mary tasted like steak sauce on ice. Spend your money elsewhere.

Beautiful spot! We stayed at the beginning of May just before the busy season. We were able to text & call with any questions or concerns. The owner responded directly. Very kind, very helpful. We highly recommend! We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

We worked remotely for a week from the RV park, and it was lovely. The location is perfect, the park is peaceful and quiet. The owners are super friendly too. We made frequent use of the river walk right behind our site. We were also lucky enough to enjoy a brunch and a dinner at the smokehouse - food was delicious and the service excellent. This is a great place to park your home for a week - or longer! We will be back.

Definitely a 5 star experience. We were in cabin 8 for 3 days in April. It was clean and smelled pleasantly of wood oil. We particularly enjoyed the front porch with the bench swing and rod iron patio chairs and table. The cabin location was peaceful and just a few steps from the uncompahgre river and river walk, a two mile path that runs on each side of the river. The towels were high quality. The bath house was clean, new and constructed with higher quality materials like stone tiles in the shower and manufactured marble sink countertops. We ate at the smokehouse for breakfast each morning. The staff was attentive, pleasant and fast and breakfast was excellent. We did after hours check in and received clear instructions on parking, where to enter, door codes, WiFi password all through text. We also checked out and communicated cleaning needs via text. In all it a very well run establishment I highly recommend and plan on returning.

This was the best place to stay for a relaxing, mountain vacation! We stayed in a queen-bed Inn room which was perfect for this time of year. The cabins were enticing, but the smaller ones don't have bathrooms which could lead to a chilly walk for the communal bathrooms; having a bathroom en-suite was super nice for a Spring snow! The only downside to the room was that the bed felt more like a full than a queen size, but otherwise, the Inn was perfect. The location within Ouray is superb. It's walking distance to the town, but also easy to access the road that turns into the main street. The riverwalk is just steps away from the Inn and is a perfect way to get to their amazing Smokehouse or to just take in the mountain air with an easy walk. ORR is really good with their communication and I never felt like I had any questions, though I know if I did they would be promptly addressed and answered. Ouray Riverside Resort felt so homey when far from home and added to the overall enjoyment of our time in Ouray.

My wife and I had the privilege of staying here 10 years ago to the day, on the day we got married. It was beautiful then and still beautiful now. Like a fine wine this place only got better. The improvements & the atmosphere were beyond our expectations! The staff is so friendly, the management is very involved in your stay experience & they make it so easy to check in and check out. We absolutely love this place & will come again soon.

Although the gale force winds greatly reduced our ability to enjoy the park’s amenities, the way we were greeted upon arrival more than made up for those factors beyond their control. Multiple very friendly and helpful staff ensured a smooth registration process, assisted with guiding us into the campsite and alignment our rig with the well maintained full hookups. The very clean restrooms with hot water showers were very enjoyable. We look forward to our next visit, hopefully with more cooperative weather!

I've stayed at the Riverside Inn and Cabins several times over the last few years in comfortable, nicely appointed rooms at a reasonable price. My most recent visit was even more enjoyable thanks to Paul and Amber Perkins- the new owners of this establishment. Amber and Paul have combined the inn, cabins, and RV park into the Ouray Riverside Resort. There are accommodations to suit all types of travelers as well as an on-site cafe, laundromat, convenience store, and fuel service. They have really invested in this property: ongoing updating and remodeling of the rooms, re-orienting the cabins to face the river, designated parking for the cabin tenants, relocating the hot tubs closer to the inn and creating a lovely outdoor sitting area complete with fire pits. Not only are these amenities available at the same reasonable rates, they've added little touches that show their attention to detail and their dedication to customer satisfaction. Upon check-in, each guest is given a s'mores kit to toast at the fire pit. I was delighted to have dimmer switches on the lamps and loved the "make-up" cloths in the rooms. Amber, Paul, and the entire staff are very warm and personable. They strive to make the Riverside Resort your home away from home.

We stayed at this RV Park during Spring Break for my grandson. The town of Ouray was pretty much closed down for cleaning and maintenance. Even the Ouray Hot Springs were shut down for a week with no advanced notice. Had we know this ahead of time we would have not gone to Ouray. The owner of the RV park shared helpful information with us regarding other hot springs in the area that were open. Thank you! The views from the RV park are spectacular. The restrooms and laundry were very clean and well maintained. The RV sites were level, and provided ample room between campers. The location of the RV park is within walking distance to the Hot Springs or an easy bike ride into town to stores and restaurants. Prices for this RV park were very reasonable in comparison. We will definitely visit the RV park again.

The best place 1000% hands down. There's so much I could say! From the owners, the employees, to the cabin itself. Beautiful! The "fire pit" is a propane tank contraption though. Thought it was gonna be a metal ring. Probably a safety precaution.. don't want to burn down Ouray.
