I found out real fast that this place website is made of lies. I rented the "Riverside Cabin" and got stuck in the cabins that are roadside. No where near the river. The website and photos make it look like you have bathrooms in your rooms as well, but it's all a shared a bathroom and shower. The website says there are hot tubs, which is true. They are also shared hot tubs. My issue was that there are also photos of hot springs pools on the website. Those photos are for the Hot Springs Park up the road- payment separate. When I went to the front desk to ask to switch to a different cabin for the dinner he stayed that all the other Cabins were booked. But we were the first to check in and could easily have switched to a different one before the other patrons arrived. It was first come first serve, but this guy was just rude and miserable. He then tried to upgrade us to a deluxe cabin for an extra $200 when I just wanted what was originally promised to us. They also kept pushing their Smokehouse restaurant. We went there for brunch and got drinks spilled all over us by the waitress. My $14 Bloody Mary tasted like steak sauce on ice. Spend your money elsewhere.

Beautiful spot! We stayed at the beginning of May just before the busy season. We were able to text & call with any questions or concerns. The owner responded directly. Very kind, very helpful. We highly recommend! We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

We worked remotely for a week from the RV park, and it was lovely. The location is perfect, the park is peaceful and quiet. The owners are super friendly too. We made frequent use of the river walk right behind our site. We were also lucky enough to enjoy a brunch and a dinner at the smokehouse - food was delicious and the service excellent. This is a great place to park your home for a week - or longer! We will be back.

Definitely a 5 star experience. We were in cabin 8 for 3 days in April. It was clean and smelled pleasantly of wood oil. We particularly enjoyed the front porch with the bench swing and rod iron patio chairs and table. The cabin location was peaceful and just a few steps from the uncompahgre river and river walk, a two mile path that runs on each side of the river. The towels were high quality. The bath house was clean, new and constructed with higher quality materials like stone tiles in the shower and manufactured marble sink countertops. We ate at the smokehouse for breakfast each morning. The staff was attentive, pleasant and fast and breakfast was excellent. We did after hours check in and received clear instructions on parking, where to enter, door codes, WiFi password all through text. We also checked out and communicated cleaning needs via text. In all it a very well run establishment I highly recommend and plan on returning.

This was the best place to stay for a relaxing, mountain vacation! We stayed in a queen-bed Inn room which was perfect for this time of year. The cabins were enticing, but the smaller ones don't have bathrooms which could lead to a chilly walk for the communal bathrooms; having a bathroom en-suite was super nice for a Spring snow! The only downside to the room was that the bed felt more like a full than a queen size, but otherwise, the Inn was perfect. The location within Ouray is superb. It's walking distance to the town, but also easy to access the road that turns into the main street. The riverwalk is just steps away from the Inn and is a perfect way to get to their amazing Smokehouse or to just take in the mountain air with an easy walk. ORR is really good with their communication and I never felt like I had any questions, though I know if I did they would be promptly addressed and answered. Ouray Riverside Resort felt so homey when far from home and added to the overall enjoyment of our time in Ouray.
