Outdoor Resorts/Melbourne Beach
Overview
Outdoor Resorts/Melbourne Beach offers a premier camping experience situated on a thin strip of land between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon. This resort-style community provides a unique opportunity for RVers to enjoy water access on both sides of the park. Unlike standard stopovers, this location feels like a vibrant seaside village where the sound of the waves and the breeze from the lagoon define the atmosphere. It is a place where nature meets luxury in a beautifully maintained environment.
Location & Surroundings
Located in the quiet town of Melbourne Beach, the park is tucked away from the high-rise congestion often found in other coastal areas. The setting is dominated by natural coastal dunes and lush tropical foliage that provides a screen from the outside world. Because it sits on a barrier island, visitors enjoy uninterrupted ocean breezes and a sense of peaceful seclusion. The proximity to the Indian River also makes it a prime spot for watching Florida’s famous sunsets over the water every evening.
Amenities & Park Features
The resort is packed with high-end amenities designed for an active and social lifestyle. Residents and guests have access to three heated swimming pools, several tennis courts, and well-maintained pickleball courts. For those who love the water, the park features a private fishing pier on the lagoon side and private access to the sandy Atlantic beach. There are also on-site laundry facilities, a fitness room, and a clubhouse that hosts regular events, ensuring all the comforts of a luxury stay are met.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Nature enthusiasts will appreciate being just a short drive from Sebastian Inlet State Park, famous for its world-class surfing and pier fishing. For an educational day trip, the Kennedy Space Center is within driving distance, while the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge provides incredible sea turtle nesting views during the summer months. Local seafood restaurants and boutique shops in downtown Melbourne Beach are easily accessible for those wanting to explore the local flavors and authentic Florida charm.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is an ideal destination for active retirees and winter snowbirds seeking a long-term stay in a social, community-driven environment. It is also perfect for families who enjoy water sports like kayaking, paddleboarding, or surfing. If you value a refined coastal lifestyle with beach access and resort-level facilities rather than a rustic forest setting, this Melbourne Beach gem is a perfect fit for your upcoming Florida travel itinerary.

I love it here at Outdoor Resorts of Melbourne Beach! There's 3 pools, shuffle board, chapel and more. The pool right on the beach is my favorite! Everyone is nice and friendly. I definitely recommend this place if you want to to relax and enjoy life.
