LAND ROVER

Nice resort in the middle of the shinunua valley incredible landscaping. Well, thought out very clean. All amenities were great, surrounded by the mountains. Sunrise Sunset Lots of stars lovely property. We pulled in around 245 on a Tuesday, and our paperwork was outside. I found that a little bit odd as it says. The grounds are open until 5 long story. Short, we grabbed our paperwork and went to our site. We were there for 3 days and had no contact with anyone never saw anyone. Except for campers. Then, we decided to stay another night, and I called the office to let them know. We wanted to stay an additional night. And the young lady said she could just use the card on file and add the night again. No, interaction, I gave it 4 stars due to the fact of not a lot of great customer service, but the grounds and the location in campground itself are absolutely incredible. Thanks for the location and setting Bmx track wow

I’ve been camping for over 40 years — ever since I was a kid going with my parents — and I’ve kept the tradition alive with my own child. Out of all the campgrounds I’ve visited, this one is by far my favorite! The campsites are beautiful and well laid out, whether you’re in a tent, glamping tent, cabin, or RV. The grounds are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. I absolutely love the golf cart trails — they might be my favorite part of camping here! The bike track and RC car track are some of the coolest amenities I’ve ever seen at a campground. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into making this a fun, family-friendly place with something for everyone. I can’t wait to come back!

Our first time here; WE WILL BE BACK! We took our camper and had an amazing trip. We were in lot 609, the views were amazing. The lot was top notch, had enough room for my husband’s truck, my Explorer and the golf cart we rented. From the beginning it was amazing, the staff was so polite and courteous and answered every question we had. The check in process was fast and very efficient. The golf cart rental process was smooth as well. Everything around this was clean and just a blast to be at. Thank you again to all of the staff for such an amazing experience.

The campground was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay. It would be a great place to bring kids. There are so many amenities and the location is just right for touring the local attractions and access to Shenandoah National Park. I would even consider a return visit. This review gets 4 stars because of the lack of campground staff presence. Not once did we see campground staff other than check in and purchasing firewood at the store. The lack of presence was obvious when golf carts are speeding down the wrong way on one way roads and in between campsites. I reported 2 different golf carts driving between campsites and the campground responded appropriately and was appreciative of both my reports, but the fact I had 2 separate reports shows the golf carts are a problem. Additionally, we were handed a paper that highlighted a few things about the campground. One highlight stated that campers have every right as staff to report underage golf cart drivers. This tells me the campground is relying on its patrons to police and report things. Why not be proactive instead of reactive? I would recommend more campground presence. If there is, make it known, by writing security or some identifying name so people don’t think they can do whatever they want. Also, some speed bumps might help. We saw a car passing a golf cart and the golf cart was already going too fast.

I give this campground a 10/10. Seriously, very nice. We took our motor home and had a drive through lot. I could not believe how well laid out this resort is. The bathhouses were extremely clean. I love how they had little bath houses you could lock the door and have full bathroom to yourself. They all had mini splits too so no Stinky, stuffy bathhouse here. This would be a great place for a family vacation. Everyone could rent their own place. We loved the nice shade trees through. Our dogs loved the river. We will absolutely go back here.
