Highly recommend. We came in with A 40-ft motorhome and our truck was towed behind and there's plenty of room for us. Get in and out so I recommend it if you you would call ahead because I'm not sure if they have that many sites that are easy and and easy out but just call will. He's a great guy. Will Daniels.

If you're looking for a peaceful and genuinely friendly RV experience near Evergreen, Alabama, Owassa Lakeside RV Park is a quiet and safe option. Tucked away just a short drive from town, this park offers a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere that feels like a true escape. One of the standout features is the lovely small lake, which we hear is well-stocked with fish – perfect for a quiet afternoon of angling. Even if you're not a fisherman, the views are tranquil and add to the overall serene ambiance. What really makes Owassa Lakeside special, though, is the community. There's a good number of long-term residents here, and they contribute to a very welcoming and neighborly vibe. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. It’s clear that this isn't just a stopover for many; it's a true home away from home. We parked in #4 and the sweet lady in #5 was very nice. Also, Will was easy to work with and communicated with us to ensure we were comfortable. Yes, the roads within the park are dirt and gravel, but honestly, it just adds to the rustic charm and laid-back feel. It's a small trade-off for the peace and quiet you'll find here. The sites are spacious enough, long pull through spaces and the surrounding natural beauty is a refreshing change of pace from more commercial parks. For a genuine taste of Southern hospitality and a relaxing stay, Owassa Lakeside RV Park I can recommend this little gem. It’s not a 5⭐️ but an easy 4⭐️. The rates are very affordable and there’s nothing else within 20-30 miles that could even compare. We’ll be back.

We had unexpected engine trouble while pulling our RV north and needed a place to park the RV for a week or two while they worked on the truck. The mechanic recommended this park. It's a quaint, no frills park with very affordable rates. But what it lacks in frills, it more than made up for in it's hospitality. My husband had to travel to TN with the rental car for a week which left me there alone. The owner Will was so sweet. He stopped by a couple of times making sure I didn't need to go into town for groceries and brought me change for the laundry facility. Not once was I worried about being there alone. I would highly recommend this RV park to anyone looking for a place to stay while traveling thru. The southern hospitality can't be beat.

Prices are amazing. Owner is phenomenal. Most of the long term tenants are astounding and friendly as well. Never had any serious issues.

The owner was very nice and very accommodating as it was pouring rain when we arrived. I called first to see if he had any openings, and he said yes and gave us our site # and said he would come see us in a bit. 😃 The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star, is because the people a bit away had a drunken party with cussing, arguing and playing corn hole until sometime after midnight.

I know a couple of fun people who live there. Its great community of game lovers. I'll be back!

Nice place to stay for a stopover since there was easy access from interstate. Pull thru sites with full hookups. Part full timers and part daily campers at park. Everyone we met were friendly.

We arrived after dark, driving an RV for the first time. The owner was EXTREMELY nice in helping first time campers. He stayed to make sure we knew how to do the hook ups, which we didn't. He was kind enough to show us what to do and how to do it. The price was right and we loved the southern hospitality.

Really like this place. No frills but nice quiet park with new gravel and decent space between campers. Cliff was very nice when I spoke to him on the phone. 30A and 50A Service at the pedestals along with sewer and water. They take passport America too!!

Quiet and off the beaten path. My husband and I just bought our 5th Wheel and needed a last minute place to stop for the night since our delivery took forever at the dealership. (We are headed back to Fl) Someone answered the phone after 9 pm, got us in, which was much appreciated! Hook ups were easy and everyone was quiet in the park. Check out was simple. These pull through's are about 100ft long so you can get two cars and our 32ft 5th wheel in a spot. Very easy to maneuver in the park. There is a laundry facility and a lake (pic attached) although the lake was low when we were there. If we are ever up this way again we would definitely stay again!
