Owen Sound KOA Journey

Walk into the woods from your spacious campsite at this secluded KOA.

Walk into the woods from your spacious campsite at this secluded KOA. Nature trails connect to the Bruce Trail along the Niagara Escarpment, a wondrous ecosystem of forests, cliffs and wildflowers running from Niagara Falls to the Bruce Peninsula, flanked by the deep blue waters of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Nearby, Sauble Beach offers 7 miles of heavenly sand. Shop, dine, golf and fish in Owen Sound, 2 miles away. Relax on a ferry ride through the islands of the Fathom Five National Marine Park, where glass-bottom boats pass over shipwrecks and unusual rock formations. Use the M.S. Chi-Cheemaun ferry to travel farther north. Take advantage of KOA's heated saltwater pool, game room, playing fields, picnic shelter and lots of running and biking room. Enjoy the  convenience of sewer hookups on-site. Some of our staff speak Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese. Pool: June 1 - September 7. Max pull thru: 75 feet.

This KOA has become a yearly trip for my family and I now. This site has always been very kept tidy and clean. Especially the bathroom. as they make sure regular cleaning happens there, so trips to the bathroom do not require a gas mask or any bio hazmat suit. With two active boys, my wife and I really appreciate the amenities the campground offers to keep them busy. The hiking trails are pretty fantastic, and the staff are super friendly. The pool is even salt water pool, which really just tops things off. Highly recommend.

Clean, spacious campsites. Friendly, available staff. Bathrooms are always clean. Campground is generally quiet after 10pm. The central location in Owen Sound, quick access to the Bruce Trail and affordable rates are a definite asset to this campground. We will look forward to camping here again in the future.

We went tent camping and we were very pleased with the location as well as all the amenities that were offered. It is a pet friendly campground and we loved seeing other people's dogs. It is a very quiet place at night and we slept well. The lady at the desk was very nice and had a great sense of humor. We will stay there again if we ever go back to Owen Sound.
