Owen Sound KOA Journey

Walk into the woods from your spacious campsite at this secluded KOA.

Walk into the woods from your spacious campsite at this secluded KOA. Nature trails connect to the Bruce Trail along the Niagara Escarpment, a wondrous ecosystem of forests, cliffs and wildflowers running from Niagara Falls to the Bruce Peninsula, flanked by the deep blue waters of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Nearby, Sauble Beach offers 7 miles of heavenly sand. Shop, dine, golf and fish in Owen Sound, 2 miles away. Relax on a ferry ride through the islands of the Fathom Five National Marine Park, where glass-bottom boats pass over shipwrecks and unusual rock formations. Use the M.S. Chi-Cheemaun ferry to travel farther north. Take advantage of KOA's heated saltwater pool, game room, playing fields, picnic shelter and lots of running and biking room. Enjoy the  convenience of sewer hookups on-site. Some of our staff speak Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese. Pool: June 1 - September 7. Max pull thru: 75 feet.

We stayed on a camp site this past weekend with electrical/water and enjoyed our time with our little family! The kids loved the playground and pool, the bathrooms and showers were very clean and wasn’t too far of a walk from the tent sites. The owners were wonderful. Would definitely stay again!

quick check in -- staff were friendly & courteous bathroom & showers were neat & clean, pool was nice on a warm day loved our site - listening to the cows mooing as they were going out to pasture & going back to the barn in the evening. Campground is well located & close to town -- we were able to ride our bikes for shopping & to explore the city. can't wait to go back again.

Stayed in a pull through trailer site, site was clean, hookup's all worked. Beautiful view of the stars at night, hiking trail was nice, peaceful walk through the woods very easy for most people. Bathroom and pool was also very clean and tidy. Really enjoyed how quite the park was at night. Great location close to restaurants and stores in Owen Sound.

This KOA is very close to amenities while maintaining a feeling of being in nature. The Bruce trail is really lovely to hike on and it's accessed from the park. The fully services lots were great and we back onto the forest which was lovely. The people who run it were very pleasant to deal with. Main office could use a refresh but overall it was peaceful. 👍🏻

We just spent the weekend and we were very happy with our stay. The property was tidy, well taken care of, and easy to navigate around with our 30ft travel trailer. The bathrooms and pool were very clean and maintained properly. Friendly and helpful staff. Hook ups for electrical, water and sewer were no issue, all very easy to access and worked as they should. The rainbow trout pond was super nice and it was a fun experience being able to feed them. The kids made good use of the park and my wife enjoyed the walking trail. Overall a great experience and we definitely plan to visit here again!
