Ozark Country Campground

Overview

Ozark Country Campground offers a serene and shaded retreat tucked away in the heart of Missouri’s most famous entertainment destination. As a family-owned and operated establishment, the park emphasizes a friendly, community atmosphere that makes every visitor feel welcome. It serves as a tranquil escape where the natural beauty of the Ozark Mountains is preserved, providing a stark but welcome contrast to the bustling activity of the nearby city center.

Location & Surroundings

The park is strategically located just a few minutes south of the legendary Branson 76 Strip, providing immediate access to the city’s vibrant energy. The surroundings are characterized by rolling hills and dense forest canopies, which help maintain a cooler, shaded environment during the warm summer months. This unique positioning allows guests to enjoy a secluded wilderness feel without sacrificing the convenience of being near major grocery stores and local dining options.

Amenities & Park Features

Facilities at the park are designed to ensure a comfortable stay for modern RVers, including level pull-thru and back-in sites equipped with full hookups. Travelers can take advantage of the sparkling seasonal swimming pool to relax after a day of sightseeing. The park also maintains spotless bathhouses and laundry facilities, along with a small gift shop. Each site includes access to cable television and reliable internet, making it easy to plan your next day’s itinerary from the comfort of your rig.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Guests are perfectly positioned to explore the diverse offerings of the region, ranging from the high-energy rides at Silver Dollar City to the scenic shores of Table Rock Lake. Nature lovers can spend their mornings hiking local trails or trout fishing at Lake Taneycomo, while evenings are often reserved for the famous musical variety shows that have made Branson a household name. For a more relaxed pace, the historic downtown area offers a variety of unique boutiques and riverside walks.

Who This Park Is Best For

This destination is a premier choice for RV travelers who prioritize a peaceful, quiet environment over the bells and whistles of a large-scale resort. It is best suited for families seeking a safe, shaded space for children and retirees who appreciate a well-managed and orderly park. If you are looking for a basecamp that balances proximity to world-class entertainment with the tranquility of a forest setting, this campground fits the bill perfectly.

Kenny and Debbie were wonderful hosts along with all the staff we interacted with. Great campsites with full hookups. Also had heated showers and laundry facilities that were very clean and had plenty of hot water. This will be our go to campground in the future.

Fantastic staff. Quiet. Extremely clean laundry and bathrooms. Nice grounds. That being said. Don't bring your dog. No off leash dog park. My puppy was going nuts after a week. Only 4 paved campsites. Most of the rest are quite small. Lots of full time people in rigs and cabins out and about at all hours. Kinda disconcerting.

We love coming back here every time we travel northeast! Friendly, quiet and close to both the beautiful lake and Branson fun.

Clean park, showers and laundry. The managers were friendly and helpful. Full hook ups at pull through site for our 37 foot travel trailer and extended cab truck. Close to all the attractions.
