For those who prefer the water, the lake is perfect for kayaking or canoeing, providing a peaceful vantage point to view the local wildlife and the dense forest scenery that defines the region.
Who This Park Is Best For
This destination is ideal for outdoor adventurers and hikers who prioritize access to trailheads and natural beauty over luxury resort amenities. We stopped by the recreation area near the lake for picnic lunch on the way to White Mountain. Calm, quiet and peaceful area with picnic tables and restrooms. Lots of area for kids to run around inspite of being lake side. We took a walk after lunch and found this cemetery near by. So cool and creepy :)
