We rented a small rv for 2 nights. Campsite was very clean. The views were nice! Unfortunately one of us had to sleep on the sofa bed that did not have a mattress, very uncomfortable cushions, feeling the bars underneath. The main bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet which was very nice!

Look no further! You're in for a fantastic vacation at Pacific Playgrounds! We stayed in a 2-bedroom cabin with our 4-year granddaughter...just outside of the cabin is a stream and we literally watched the salmon swim upstream. My granddaughter LOVED playing on the playground and found several kids her age to run with and chase-to be able to allow kids to be kids in today's world was a huge treat! No question that they were completely safe. The environment around the area is spectacular-old growth forests, beautiful walks, beaches and views across the ocean...its all right there! The cabin itself was quite nice, well appointed and clean. Amenities in the resort include a marina, a store and a small business which rents kayaks and arranges outings. We took advantage of this and chartered a boat, captained by Jake. Jake took great care of us, including my wife who HATES boats. She had a great time as we caught and released several salmon, including my granddaughter's first fish. After fishing, he found a pod of Humpback whales who loved the boat and stayed with us for 1/2 an hour. What a day!! If you're looking for a quiet, beautiful setting, you've found it. Great little restaurants nearby. The photos online do not do the resort justice-so much prettier and nicer in person! The entire area is spectacular and we will be back!

We reserved an in-place RV for a week in an ideal location next to the river with a view of the Marina. After unpacking we tried out everything and were extremely disappointed with: 1. Stove burner not working 2. Oven would not light 3. Window in back bedroom would not close 4. Furnace was not working 5. Door to outdoor kitchen would not open 6. Light over DR table would not work As a rental unit these items should all be checked beforehand. We complained and were moved to a cottage location (#20)with no view and as far away from the marina and beach as you can get. We were not given another RV option as we had our dog with us. The campground is in a nice location but their attention to detail, upkeep and cleanliness is less than desired. Sorry - we won’t be back

I highly recommend this RV park. Beautiful sites and ample facilities. The restrooms and showers are spacious and clean. There are plenty of washers and dryers. They look great too. But what really stood out was the friendliness of the staff. We had a problem with the toilet drain in our RV. And without charging us, the maintenance guy came by and helped us. Really excellent service!

We had an amazing time on our vacation at Pacific Playground Resort! The owners Curtis and Nikki are awesome people. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. This is a great place to take the family for a vacation. Lots of stuff for the kids to do and even a great outdoor pool. And don’t forget to try the awesome ice cream at the resort store! We tried several of the flavours! We’ve already booked out next years trip for thus great place!

Worst camping site on the island. Sites are too small and you're stacked in like sardines. No security or anything at night so if you have drunken douches blaring music all night there's nobody to deal with it.

I had an amazing site right beside the river. Incredible views and lots of great places to hike and explore. A perfect seaside vacation.

By far the BEST resort I’ve ever been to! stayed in the cabins my first couple days there and I can not express how CUTE they were, felt just like home, honestly better!! Water access right from your back balcony. High quality bedding and towels. The cabin was absolutely spotless. So clean I walked into the glass not once but 3 times. I’d highly recommend! Last couple days went to rental RVS, right on the ocean front. You really can’t find a better view. Spacious trailers and well put together lots. Everything is right at your fingertips. Grocery store a 3 minute walk along with liquor store, dispensaries, restaurants. All your vacation needs. 🥳 Activity wise there are gorgeous hiking trails, whale/sea lion watching, boating, salmon fishing. Some of the most beautiful things I’ve ever see were on this trip! To top it all off… financially friendly and it’s PET FRIENDLY 🐶❤️ 1000/10

We will never return. We were there for 9 nights and no one advised us at any point that they had a tree company coming in to fall large trees in the sites directly beside & behind our site, so we were quite surprised when the first tree came crashing down, startling us awake, at 8am. The chipper and chainsaws didn't stop until 4:45pm (9 hours), and the next day the chainsaw & tractor went for 4hrs while the grounds crew moved the logs. The tree guys were great and it wasn't their fault whatsoever, but they were quite surprised that we were not told they were going to be there. When I brought it to Marion's attention in the office she pretty much just dismissed me completely, and after I wrote an email to Jay (the GM) he came by to talk with me & apologize that we weren't at least told this would be happening and then offered a free night, but said he couldn't refund 1 night of our current stay because he had to "answer to people". He put it on file, but it's useless because we will never be back. The sites are VERY small/narrow and you are stacked on top of each other. The website photos make the place look a million times nicer than it is. No one told us the pool would be closing for the season, and even in the info paper we got at check-in it said it was "weather dependent", which I understand but then we found a sign that said closed for the season. The best part was that we had friendly neighbors, thank God because we were so close to each other.
