I can't rate this resort low enough based on the service. I made the booking through a third party website which did not make it known that only RV's of a certain age and quality would be permitted. As Canadians, this came as a complete shock and we were left with nowhere to stay at peak season. In addition to losing our accommodations, no effort was made to reimburse or relocated us and we were out $650 for literally nothing. This is the American stereotype manifest, small print that leads you to another small print document that has clauses buried. Just a malicious scheme that is completely outside of my understanding. Do not book this location unless you've already got a $300,000 RV, but then again, if you've got that much invested already, who cares about losing $600.

We loved our stay it was amazing. The group of people we met were outstanding and so friendly. They had a potluck type bbq that we decided to go check out. Ans had so much fun. They put on a "not so newlywed" game and we all had a good laugh. The dogs had fun running on the beach. There was so much more than we expected. Thank you

I booked a 3 night stay THROUGH VRBO, the title says it had 30amp/50amp hookups, dog friendly, and free wifi. No where does it say class A and C motorcoaches only unless you open the description and it 3 pages deep. You do not get the name of the place in the listing or the confirmation. It doesn't give you any additional information on the listing at all. We drove 4 hours and were turned away. The lady at the desk says this happens all the time. They refused even a partial refund and they booked what we had after they canceled our reservation. They made $450 on us and then with who ever reserved after our cancelation. It is 100% scam and they are making a bank load of cash out of unsuspecting victims because they can't be up front on their listing. We would have been happy if there was a partial refund but nothing. This is a shameful establishment and I will avoid this place in the future and ensure that my company does too.

This is a gorgeous RV Resort!! We’ve come here many times over the years and the views are exceptional! The crew keeps the grounds and common areas immaculate! The bathrooms are spotless as well. (However one of the men’s toilets in the Clubhouse didn’t flush properly and needs to be fixed). The only complaint we have is that all restrooms don’t open until 7:30 am. They should be able to be open by 6 am at the latest. It seems many other guests felt the same way. Or keep the clubhouse restrooms open with the code 24 hours and keep the doors to the pool locked. It would certainly be a great improvement. Overall though, a fantastic place to spend at the ocean!!

Unfortunately, I can't leave much of a review because I was not allowed to stay here upon my arrival. My husband and I drove from Alberta, Canada and booked this RV resort for a few days for our first visit to Oregon. Upon our arrival, we were told we weren't allowed to check in because we did not have a large RV and this was an "exclusive" resort. We booked online through a third-party website, which did not include this information anywhere during our booking, and when we received confirmation of our booking, this information was also not included anywhere in our rental agreement directly from Pacific Shores. Wendy was lovely and tried to advocate for us to get at least a partial refund, but our request was denied over a text message. I even requested a manager to call me to at least discuss what happened, and no one called me. Online, the resort looks beautiful... but this is a 0-star review because due to unclear policy and marketing, Pacific Shores has left us with a ~$600 CAD bill for absolutely no services or access, and is unwilling to even follow through with the most basic of customer services, which is a phone call. Now they can take advantage of busy season and get another RV into our spot, making twice the profit after ignoring our complaints with the clarity of their policy. Hopefully our credit card dispute can compensate for the crummy situation and help us get a partial refund, since Pacific Shores was useless.

This is a fantastic RV Resort. Only Motorhomes are allowed to stay here. You are greeted by staff and given the details of your reservation and park rules, then the Gate is opened and you get escorted to your site and given assistance in backing in your coach. A seperate entry has a gate with simple touchpad for entering a code so you can drive to come and go in a car or truck. Great facilities, nice landscaping, hiking trails, pickleboard court, and private beach access with a great Lighthouse view. Trail to beach is a gravel path and steps (fairly steep in spots) to the sand. Very close to Newport for restaurants, supplies, food,,, This place is quiet and people are typically very friendly, many are snowbirds who stay here during good weather in spring and summer, some may even be year round coasties! Will be going back again, soon.

If you own a class A or C coach, and we noticed class B also this trip, this is the place for you! All of the RV sites are awesome, we particularly like the oceanfront ones, and the amenities are the best! This property is kept up perfectly at all times. People are friendly and respectful. The office staff, particularly Lisa, are amazing, helpful, fun, and make it so nice for everyone!!! We’ve stayed here about 50 times over the years and it’s better than ever, if that’s possible. We highly recommend!! The pictures are from our coach and on our walk to the beach on the private trail from the resort.

Absolute DREAM of an RV resort. Superb grounds filled with the friendliest and most welcoming people you've ever met. Steps from a pristine beach that will take your breath away and a fantastic clubhouse with amazing pool. Danny took our reservation, welcomed us to the resort, guided us around the property and made us feel like family. We will make this a yearly destination from now on. Recommend HIGHLY.
