Impressive for such a small, rural and economically depressed community. This facility on Florida's largest freshwater lake is very well designed, but the men's room could use some serious maintenance! Water toxicity warnings are posted due to algae bloom. Keep fighting, @CaptainsForCleanWater!

Special place for my husband and I. We love it. We drive 2 hours for a Special day a few time a year

The marina looks awesome although it was nearly empty. Camping right on the water was really nice. The bathroom was excellent. The pool area is awesome. The lake is unbelievably massive. You can't even see the other side. Unfortunately the water quality and lack of access to the shoreline, left me a bit disappointed with the lake itself.

Well, actually, my experience was getting there, because at least a few times a year, we take a bike ride from Wellington there and back, it's about 70 miles. It's a nice place to visit, although it's a little different and a bit rural, with a small town where there aren't many things. It has a slightly old-fashioned feel, but it's something different from where you'd go. There are restroom facilities when you get there and a little rest area.

Great place to relax, get off the road, stretch your legs and see the scenery. Birds and other wildlife may be present.
