Perfect end of summer start of fall camp getaway! Close to trails, river, and downtown. Perfect for the family to unplug and reconnect to nature. The bath facility is by far the CLEANEST I've ever seen. The camp host is so nice and helpful. We will definitely come back again. Thanks for everything!

Super cute campground. Nice mix of open, sunny spots and cozy, wooded spots. Multiple lovely little log cabins. Right by town but you wouldn't think it when you're camping there. Very peaceful. The access to tons of ORV trails was a huge plus also. Friendly owner. Would absolutely camp here again and recommend it to others.

This charming, quaint campground is a gem. The country setting is peaceful and quiet with wildlife roaming the well maintained grounds. Its has FHU’s, cute cabins, and wooded tent sites. There’s access close by to the river trails and ATV trails can be accessed directly from the park. There’s a small downtown in walking distance with a few restaurants, shops, and a throwback, old fashioned theater hosting entertainment each weekend.

I was having repeated mechanical issues while exploring the UP in my RV and was pretty discouraged, and I am so grateful that the universe put Carey in my path. I stayed in a full hookup site until my camper could be worked on, and then I stayed in one of the cabins while the RV was in a garage. Both accommodations were perfect for my needs, and Carey was a very helpful resource and just a terrific human being. The campground was great--tidy grounds, clean bathrooms, and a nice riverside trail. But it was mostly Carey's kindness and friendliness that raised my spirits at a time when I needed it. Thank you!

This campground is a hidden gem. It's absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Clean and well kept. Very nice bathrooms with plenty of hot water and extra spaces and shelves for your amenities. The people that are running the campground, Mary and Carey, are the kindest and most helpful people. They're both so incredibly welcoming and really make you feel at home. All the other campers were super friendly and everyone just had a great time. I can't recommend this place enough. Stores and gas are close by, and you're on an old farm with lots of beautiful apple trees just at the edge of town in a pretty valley near the Paint River.

Love this campground, we live in Crystal and this is a nice quiet little getaway from our place. Managers are awesome! And so we're the hot showers ☺️ wish you were open past Sept. Would love to camp this weekend

Had a great time camping at Paint River Hills Campground. Hosts Lois and George were just as friendly and helpful as one could hope for. Nice hiking trails as well as the river. Other campers were friendly and respectful.

Chock full of charm this former apple orchard has large sites with water and electricity. It does not have a pool or beach but is quiet and has a very modern bathhouse. Hosts George and Louise are very friendly and keep everything clean. Our site was very level and was just above a marked Ojibwa trail down to the Paint River. The town of Crystal Falls is larger than we expected. It was also a great value for the money and a great central point for visiting other western UP attractions. Bond Falls is a must see!!!

This is a small Campground spread out in a forest above the Paint River. The property is dotted with apple trees with some tasty fruit. A trail leads down to the river, I enjoyed half a day fishing along its banks. There are many tent sites with and without water. There are numerous pull through rv sites. I had a back in site without sewer, however there is a dump station on the way out. Most sites have a table and fire ring. Managers are friendly and helpful. The restrooms are very well kept as are the showers. I spent a couple half days kayaking the reservoir above the dam just up stream of the Campground. I very much enjoyed my stay.

We have found the Campground to be an interesting site setting on a bluff between the Paint River and the Town of Crystal Falls. I guess being from Missouri, I find the Pine Forest and rock bluffs to be very interesting here. Tent Camping, some with Electric and Water just inside the woods along the bluff over looking the river makes for a magical atmosphere. Dark with Liken and green moss clinging to trees and rocks, and pine needles forest floor. We have found the town to be very friendly and our dealings with the Grocery Store and Hardware Store have been excellent. Logans' Place has fast food and "Amaretto Mackinac Island Fudge" Ice Cream! Amazing!!
