Great spot to take kids and dogs for a casual weekend of camping. Fishing is great. Several docks are available for jumping off or launching kayaks and paddle boards. Grounds are pretty well kept and there are bathrooms and showers...which are clean most of the time. The camp staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful. I have never had a bad interaction with them. I can't comment on the golf course because I don't golf. However, the golf clubhouse has a small restaurant that had a very good burger and fries. We will definitely be bringing the kids back year after year.

We had so much fun at Palisade State Park, we were a big group of extended family and we stayed in 3 cabins. Unfortunately, my family’s AC went out twice but JASON was phenomenal!!! He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, replacing the AC units ASAP. He deserves so much credit. He was so personable and fun to talk to. He gave great recommendations on the fishing there and where to eat. Just a naturally friendly, outgoing guy. He really made us all feel so welcome there as well as the rest of the staff. It really was a breath of fresh air to be greeted by such warm, friendly people- it just made our experience that much better there. The cabins were very roomy and clean- another pleasant surprise! We’ve stayed in cabins other places that we had to clean first before feeling comfortable staying in them. The lake was a blast, the kids loved paddle boarding, jumping off the platforms and riding around in the pedal boats. It seemed very family friendly all around. We loved walking around the lake each morning on the trail. Beautiful gem in Eastern Utah! Thank you again to Jason!!

This park, located next to a quality golf course, is clean, popular, and well-maintained. Full hookup sites are available, but they’re situated on a hill with no shade, which is fine most of the year but can be brutal in summer due to the heat radiating off the level blacktop surfaces. The lakeside sites are fantastic, though most lack facilities, with only a few offering power. The showers are standard for a community park, they are functional but well-worn. The lake is perfect for water sports, and you can rent various non-powered boats and floats, Overall, I’d definitely stay here again.

Our 2nd time coming camping here. The main reasons we chose Palisade are restrooms/showers and the ability to have a campfire. It was worth 3 and a half hour drive one way 😅 we love how close the campsites are to the lake. We like Pioneer campsite area. It's fun to spend the whole day on the water, kayaking, tubing, etc. The golf course next door is great too. Also definitely rent a golf cart. We used it to drive it to the office to get ice. And it was fun to drive it around all over all the campsites to look around and see if we want to try a different spot next year. Book your site well in advance. We booked ours in March and barely managed to secure a 3 night stay. Our kids love coming to Palisade and don't want to leave. No motorized boats allowed in the reservoir, so it's perfect for paddle boards and kayaks. You can rent lots of water toys for a reasonable price

Great weekend at a busy, noisy, typical state park campground. If you’re looking for a place where people are quiet and they don’t play their music for all to enjoy, then this isn’t for you. The pull through sites are kinda sad, but our friends across had a great site for hanging out. Love the fact that the lake is non-motorized. Easy access to ATV trails if that’s your thing. Grocery store 10m away; large box store 20m away. Nice golf course!
