Old campground so if you don’t have sewer connections on the back of your coach you may have trouble dumping holding tanks as the connection point is roughly 10” above the ground surface and located at the rear of the back in sites. Management seems like they have rehearsed the explanation as to why this can not be fixed. Management is professional so I’m inclined to think the ownership is the real issue with having this campground updated and made to work with units that have been manufactured in the past 20 years. All of this to say that for the $90 per night we spent I would strongly recommend others to look elsewhere as I’m sure there are better options in this area if your like us and just wanting a place to stay while visiting Joshua Tree NP.

We loved the location of this campground so much. The amenities are awesome, Lynn at the desk was friendly and helpful. The huge dog park is wonderful. We had a shaded spot that was level. The wifi was the best we've had in awhile. The views and sunsets are beautiful. October is a great month to visit here. We will return!

Need ground maintenance. Especially on sites. Pool area we were terrorized by unsupervised kids. But it was Saturday. Hotel tubs were nice. It os a very old KOA so don't get your expectations up.

Loved our stay at this KOA. Staff were friendly and helpful, plenty of staff working and maintaining the park which was great to see. Sites are wide and large which was really nice, you did not feel that you were encroaching on your neighbour. And has privacy. Plenty of activities to keep you busy at the campground with mini golf, basketball pickle ball courts etc The pool was very nice with three mineral hot tubs and a large warm pool. My favourite KOA and would definitely stay here again when visiting PSP.

Very clean and quiet campground with lots of amenities available. We stayed one night in mid-June and appreciated having full hookups for our camper in the hot, windy desert. Spacious sites and a decent amount of trees for shade. I originally paid the extra fee to reserve a particular site that I thought was going to be nice and shaded (hadn't been here before). When I arrived, the host was nice enough to let me know that site would have no shade so she refunded me and put me in a better spot! Nothing within walking distance but about 15-20 min to Palm Springs & Joshua Tree NP
