Palm Springs Oasis RV Resort

We stayed here for free as part of our thousand trails membership and it was okay. Good location for getting to Cathedral City and Palm Springs. There’s no gate to get in and multiple times at night I watched someone walk in, wander the campground, and then leave. So definitely don’t leave anything valuable outside. The fire station is right across the street so you’ll hear a lot of sirens. The pool area looked nice but when I tried to go another guest said I needed a key which was never offered to us so I don’t know if that’s a resident only perk. The bathrooms are pretty dated and in need of some upkeep. The lock on the shower I used was very flimsy and loose and the shower stall was pretty cramped. They have a big laundry room, and a communal fire pit. There’s also a small gated dog park. We would stay here again for the convenience of the location.

So I was debating giving this park 4 or 5 stars because the park is great, the office staff is great, and the neighbors are super friendly. There are cement slabs which I absolutely love and there were a lot of choices close by. So here comes the however, there are homeless and suspicious people that roam around or ride their bikes through the park, sometimes coming from the dumpster area, pool, and laundry. There is an RVer in the park that gives them the codes to the bathhouse and access to the pool which requires a key and $25 refundable key deposit that is not reallynot worth the paperwork because guests either let people in or place a rock by the gate. I actually saw "suspicious activity" (person on bike goes to the drivers side window of the car, then rides away) in the middle of the night because my site was in view of the pool. Random suitcase and belongings were left by the pool for almost a week because they were just left there. There is no gate on the front entrance or ranger that patrols the park at night, so it's open to come on right in. It is left up to the RVers to monitor which I wasn't too happy about because I am a guest and not my job to be neighborhood watch so I left nothing outside nor did I unhook my securrd scooter. I was a bit peeved because I wanted to ride around town but didnt want to take the chance of it being stolen so i just hung out bored or went for a swim. The poolS NEED to be redone and the water looked ew.... I went swimming once but just felt ew when I got out. That really sucked because Temps were over 100° and it was HOT. Would I return, probably, but not more than a week and will definitely ONLY return when the Temps are cooler. Happy and safe travels.

First of all, the staff here are amazing! Diana checked us in and she is always very helpful and patient . The pool next to the office was closed due to a pipe leak but we used the other pool which we love anyway so it wasn’t a problem. The laundry facilities are frustrating as you have to buy a CSC card and it’s only when the office is open can you get access to buy a card. I wish they had the cash machines too as an option. Will definitely be back!

My wife and I have stayed at this RV Park many times over the years. The office staff are so caring and friendly they always try to accommodate every request no matter how silly they may seem. It’s a very well kept park and they just repaved all the roads. Both pool areas and hot tub are very well maintained. We love the gatherings at the clubhouse and really enjoy the burgers and hot dogs every Saturday at noon. Our fitness Center and favourite restaurant are right across the street from the RV Park. (Excellent location) The Family atmosphere from all the staff and RVers is what keeps us coming back. Well done!!! Sean and Karen

They Canceled my reservation, would only give me a space if I paid. Even though, there are a bunch of empty spaces Assistant manager was getting in quite a tizzy which was snnoying but pretty fun to watch but god wow, love people who get mad at you with no provocation.

Kudos to thousand trails and the program for Encore RV Resorts. This is just a beautiful park. They care about the appearance. Went so far as to remove old roads and installed 1 in thick new asphalt everywhere. Understand I did this for 15 years and I only see a good result with minimal comeback. Go ahead and try to get away from a comeback It just don't happen. With that said all good things come to those that wait and look what you have done for us. Thank you Encore Oasis of Cathedral City

We booked on our way to Texas for a one nighter. There was a lot of permanent rvs and their cable hook up was very hard to work with. And a lot of empty rvs that people left for future use.

Checked in for one night stay placed in a state that was in our opinion too small we went back to ask for a new site, and the woman seemed quite a retaliated, but reluctantly gave us a new site despite many open sites the second say it was better, but could use some updating. The pool and hot tub are great and open 24 hours. Nice treat the bathrooms were clean but each only had one toilet and one shower definitely needed more. I would stay again, but likely on the other side of the campground, the road noise was a little bit much. Sunset was awsome!

A very well operated and clean Resort in an urban setting. The park is close to shopping and service stations. The staff is very helpful and professional. We enjoyed our time there! Excellent views if you get a spot on the perimeter.

Very well managed park. The washrooms and showers are really clean. The sites are all back in and fairly level cement and peddle stone no grass a few sites have some shade. We stayed in site 15 with a 23’ RV.

Three stars because it was well kept and staff was nice but the noise level from surrounding roads was ridiculous. We got an end site right across from the entrance so it was difficult to get level which cost us our “patio” area since there was no room for our rug. One of our bikes was also stolen during our stay, we will not return.

Palm Springs Oasis is very small but it was a great place to stay with just a 5-10 minute drive to downtown! We had originally intended to be here for 2 weeks, go to the other Palm Springs Thousand Trails park for 2 weeks, then come back to Oasis for another 2 weeks. Our plans were messed up by a mouse that decided to chew through one of our hydraulic lines stranding us in our spot. I will say the staff here were absolutely wonderful, accommodating, and empathetic during the entire debacle. We did have to pay for the 2 weeks we were supposed to be at the other park, but we were expecting that. I'll just say the staff here makes this place a 5-star! For the park itself, it is small but the spots are all pretty spacious. Plenty of room to park your rig and vehicle. The roads through are wide and turns are easy. All the spots are back-in except for one... which is the one we somehow managed to get as it was available at the time. The park is meticulously cleaned and everyone appears to keep their spots pretty tidy. I think I saw the pool guy here every single day. Two great pools and a hot tub! There's a little dog run in the back corner behind the bathrooms too. There's a little road noise from Date Palm Drive but not too bad. All in all, it was an absolutely great place to spend the holidays... and break down! I don't often give 5 stars, but this place deserves it from me with how helpful and friendly the staff was! Typical Thousand Trails 'resort'. Mediocre accommodations. No security. No gates. No one here except guests after 5pm. Several long term, really old, RVs in need of repairs. Even a pop up camper that's seen better days. My neighbors warned me to be sure to lock my bike and bays due to theft. A sweet resident said it was 'safe' with only a 'few' homeless around. This area is a mixed bag of trash and treasure for sure.
