CHAOSNCHECK T

We had not planned to stay at this RV park but life gives up bumps. We planned our three week trip around Florida about 11-months ago and had all our stops booked and confirmed. Then Florida State Parks contacted us about five days before we were scheduled to arrive at a certain Park and said they had to cancel our reservations. No reason why, no offer to help at another State Park, nada. Naturally, this time of season all of the nearby State Parks were booked and three RV Parks we called said they were not renting to short stay travelers, they only rented for a week since it was their peak season. Fourth call got us here and confirmed for two nights. RVTRIPWIZARD tried to take us in the exit, but fortunately, we saw the main entrance down the road. Check in was just identifying ourselves. No map, no instructions, no wifi, but we were lead to our site. It was right next to a 40, on a grass/sand strip, right next to the exit and a main four way intersection. As you may imagine, it was loud but fortunately, my CPAP drowned the noise out. This Park looks to be 75% mobile home, 20% large RVs probably staying for the season, and 5% to short stay folks like ourselves. For the money we got full hookups, no wifi, and no one on our passenger side but the Park road and the main public intersection with the noise. This Park worked for us since we really had no other options but knowing what we know now, we wont be back. We camped at Palm View Gardens in a Travel Trailer.

Friendly residents, makes me feel like I am welcomed. Clean facilities and grounds. Great walking paths. Activities that keep me involved and opportunities to socialize with other guests. Loved site I was in, sun when I wanted it, shade too when I had to much sun.

I stayed at this park three years in a row. Last time was 7 years ago. We returned this year and with 2 weeks left on our stay. We left and went to another park. The one lady at the front desk was harder to deal with than a angry rattle snake. We were told to remove our portable dog fence which was fine. Then seen that staff member who lives there had the same thing up. I would not stay at this park if it was offered for free. Attitude of staff is horrible. Was told by a year round Tennant that they were afraid to say anything for fear of retaliation. What a shame was such a nice park 7 years ago.

I've been here 2 years and I'm about to sign for another year. I love this place. I live here with my dog. She loves to say "hi" to everyone even the other dogs. I feel relatively safe here. Their rates are very reasonable. I see a lots of complaints in here. If you don't like it, move. If you like it stay. I love it here and no plans on moving anytime soon. The pool is nice. I take walks everyday with my dog I feel very safe. The office staff and managers are very helpful and nice. It gets busy during the season months and really quiet during off season, but that's anywhere. Any place you live your going to find Karen's.

Booked a 30 day stay to visit friends and just to relax. Only complaints I have is there are posted speed limits posted at 10mph then 15mph BUT a 1/3 of the people think that 20-25+mph is perfectly fine I had mentioned to the office a few times and I’ve seen workers on their carts see this and say nothing! Disappointing! (The back row where we were was the worst) It only takes one person to walk around the front of their vehicle and get hit by one of these speeders (as almost happened to me with a contractor) this is a nice park but roads are narrow no reason to speed through here NONE! I feel the management should crack down more on this. NO REASON TO SPEED THROUGH ANY RV PARK NONE! Leash rule but saw someone (won’t mention who) on their carts with 2 dogs an no leash! Also I asked for a spot that backs up to the pond an was told the 2 available spots were spoken for but only one got used for 3-4 days the whole 30 days we were here! Wife and I discussed buying a place in here to snowbird next season but second guessing it for a few reasons 1. New rules for existing homes (no more concrete pads, no more carports, etc) some make sense some don’t! 2. SPEEDERS (feel nothing is being done and will not take a chance of my wife getting hurt or myself) 3. Floods easy (ON A GOOD NOTE WE HAD GREAT NEIGHBORS)

We've only been here for two days, but are staying at least a month. I may update! One thing I'm disappointed in is that there is no free wifi here only at the community room. We were scheduled to be in the center of the park of this mostly park model, permanent homes. We have a 34' Reflection. Too tight. So Mike called and made other arrangements. Much better. The pool is very nice. The community room is spacious, nice library, lots of activities going on every day. People are very friendly! It's an older park but pretty well maintained. No problems so far. We were recently at Yankee Traveler in Largo FL. One unique thing about that park is dogs are allowed in one location in the park. Here, dogs are everywhere. Not being a big or even a little fan of dogs, I liked them in one spot. We're definitely staying for the month. We just need to decide if we want to stay another month before going back to TN. We did stay another month. There are so many activities going on! Cards, sewing, trips, etc. The city of Zephyrhills isn't very far away and has just about everything you need. We would definitely plan to return here.

Lot rent is a little high. Next door to the Moose Lodge. Food at the Moose is great and they have entertainment quite often.

Lovely, quiet park on the southern edge of town. Management is very kind, welcoming and helpful. Friendly neighbors include year round residents, vacation home visitors, seasonal snowbirds and overnight campers. There is a quaint little lake and grassy area that is home to ducks, sandhill cranes and egrets. There is a small, fenced “off leash” area for dogs, and 2 big outdoor recreation areas, including shuffleboard, horseshoe pits and a pool. Reasonable rates, all adult community, a nice spot
