My family and I found Palomino RV Resort as a convenient overnight stop on our way to Florida. It’s super easy to get to right off I-65. We arrived later in the evening, and our check-in paperwork was waiting for us outside the office, which made things really simple. The map and instructions were easy to follow, and our pull-through site (Site 32) was spacious enough for our 40' RV and tow car. We liked it so much that we decided to book a site again on our way back. The only one available was a buddy site (Site 40). When we arrived, someone else had parked in our reserved spot. After an 8-hour drive, that’s not something you want to deal with, but the camp host was great and quickly helped us get it resolved. From what we understood, the other guest had a reservation for the weekend Fri- Sun and showed up early on Thursday. Aside from that little hiccup, the resort itself is really nice clean showers and restrooms, laundry facilities, and a fun game room to hang out in. Having an on-site camp host made a big difference. They are adding more sites as you enter which is where you will see gravel and dirt. But the main area is nicely done. Overall, Palomino is a clean, convenient, and well-maintained resort that we’d definitely stay at again.

Very nice campground. We enjoyed our stay. Easy on off I 65 with Love truck stop at exit and shell station with diesel. Easy to get in and our of Shell station. Would stay again. They have some great sites. We were there for their Halloween and everyone was involved.

Stopped at Palomino on our way home to Illinois from Florida. Easy access from I-65 and close to restaurants, shopping and fuel. Campground is very clean and well maintained. Roads are paved and sites are all level concrete and very large. The road on the north side of the campground can be busy and loud at times but the campground is nice enough to overlook that!! We will definitely be stopping by again!!

The park was nice and clean. I'm only giving 3 stars because I asked for a spot we could add days if we wanted to stay longer than one day. I was told not a problem since they had so many spots open. When I called to add days, I was told they rented it to someone else. The park had numerous spots that were open and only offered us to move to another spot. Since we had to pack up, we left instead of staying. At $59. They lost a paying customer. We will probably stay at another park next time we go through.
