We stopped in for a quick overnight stay and will definitely be back! Owners are very easy to work with and park was very quiet.

Gravel sites with rattlesnake warnings . No tables. Utilities in ground tough to connect to water. Friendly staff and clean restrooms.

The location was easy to find, registering for a spot was simple, and pulling in and parking was also easy. It is a grassy and gravel lot with convenient hook ups. Amenities looked nice and taken care of but we did not use. We just stopped for one night on our way through. It was perfect for that!

It's true when they say it's a gem hidden in the canyon. It's a quiet clean resort with very nice people. The staff is wonderful, and I cannot say anymore about Joni, the office representative that assists you with everything you may need. She's wonderful responsive helpful informative professional courteous one of the most sincere people I've dealt with. She keeps informed on the events that affect us and one time they had water issue, it was fixed within an hour, and she texted us and let us know and kept us informed. Joni was the best part of the experience because she really cares and is extremely efficient. We are going to miss Panhandle RV Resort. It was the greatest experience! It is a gem in the Canyon!!!

We honestly would have considered staying here again if the hospitality would have been better… no one is available to actually talk to… all by phone… then when we did call, we were met with attitude..informing us that we did not have any common sense. (concerning the fact that we did not provide our own hearting cord for our water) Most of the people that stay here are permanents residents.. and I could understand that. However, We are not from this area and have never had to provide this for ANY other RV park. Bottom line… I would not recommend and will not plan on staying here again, myself.

Campgrounds were ok. I was in site 2 which you should not be available for new comers. I had trouble getting around the horse trailer with my 35' RV pulling a car. Glad it wasn't raining, looks like a lot of mud.between campsite 2 and 3, horse trailer with junk car setting next to it. Hose connection is a little hard to use. Know way to get water without a hose. Restroom with one bathroom/shower stall is kinda small for such a nice campground. Was told over the phone cost was $35 a night and but actually was $43.

This campground has nice level spots and clean restrooms. Everyone we met was very pleasant. We accidentally made our reservation for the night before and had set up in someone else’s spot on the day we arrived. We had left to go hike the palo duro canyon unaware of our mistake. When we returned, the owner had taken care of the other campers and graciously honored our incorrect reservation saving us a huge hassle! Thank you so much for that. We are forever grateful. We highly recommend this camp site. It’s a hidden gem in the Texas Panhandle.

This is a new park working on improvements and development, so, yes, it rained and it was muddy. Owners seem to be making every effort to improve. Site was solid gravel and level so we didn't even put levelers down under the motorhome. Easy entry and exit from the pull through site. Would recommend a better sign when turning onto Hix St.
